On my trip out, it will be my wife's anniversary and I. I am staying at a Harrah's property (PH) but am willing to really go anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions on somewhere nice to take the wife for dinner one night. Going to try and keep the total bill under $200.00

I have done a couple special occasions at Lakeside at the Wynn. The prices are not that bad and if you ask for a waterside table it is a unique experience.

My pick is Circo at Bellagio. What type of food do you prefer?

I'm down for just about anything...or try anything. Neither one of us are really high on seafood, everything else is in play except chinese or japanese.

Charlie Palmer Steak at the Four Seasons- Cut of the week! 48.00 per person for a three course meal, which includes wine pairings. The room is really nice, the food is delicious and its usually pretty sedate and you can have a nice conversation without yelling over music. The menu changes weekly so you won't know what the combo is until the week you go.

+1 on Charlie Palmer Steak at Four Seasons. It is my favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas - we had dinner there on New Year' Eve. It was wonderful, as usual.

What about the foundation room? Wife and I went there this last trip and loved it more than anywhere else we had been. Both the Chicken and the steak meals we had were amazing and there isn't a better view in vegas! It also wasn't to loud so we could easily talk to each other without having to yell (although we did go eat fairly early at 6ish)

Picasso at Bellagio hands down. When you make reservations ask for a table facing the fountains.

I'd also suggest Sage at Aria.

Oops missed that part. You would get the best bang for your buck by eating somewhere off the strip. Envy Steakhouse at the Renaissance hotel is great. Check out Restaurant.com for a coupon. Raku is nice. It's a Japanese place. Very small and intimate.

Also check out this page http://www.travelzoo.com/local-deals/Las-Vegas/deals regularly for dinner deals.

Alize at the top of the Palms casino is very nice. Food is very good and the portions generous. Make a reservation 30 minutes before sunset and request a window seat for a view of the strip. It is vey romantic as you get to see the strip light up as the sun goes down.
