24 hour Buffet Pass Harrahs Properties

Is the 24 hour buffet pass worth it. I was thinking about suggesting it to my group on our upcoming trip but didn't know.

Would you be able to buy it about 9:00 p.m. and use it for dinner that night, and breakfast, lunch and dinner the following day if you ate dinner before 9:00 p.m. the following day?

 

Really depends on how much you like buffets and what you do with the pass.

The pass is $48 now and as an example the Harrah's buffet is $25 per person for dinner so if you go in there twice for dinner you save at least $2... but if you use the buffet of buffets for two breakfasts and thats it, well those are $18 each so you'd lose $12 by buying the pass.

Overall if you can use it for one dinner, one breakfast and one lunch you are going to save about $15 by having the pass, any more use beyond that would just add to the savings and worth of the pass.

Yes you can do that. Alot of the people that really try to get their moneys worth out of it try to get in two dinners out of the pass.

Also you don't have to limit your use of the 24 hour pass just for meals. Like if you did the above, starting the pass at 9PM, you could do something like:
9:00PM - go for dinner
7:00AM - go for breakfast
11:00AM - go in and have an apple and a coffee
2:30PM - go in and have some lunch
6:00PM - go in and have dinner
8:45PM - go in and have a dessert and a drink

So you can be going in and out all day long if you want, mostly just depends on how much of a line there is and if you want to wait.

 

I used to get it every trip...back when it was $30, then $35, and the last time I got it..$40. At that price, you really couldn't go wrong. But now that it's nowhere near the same value, plus you have to pay $15 more for the seafood buffet at rio and the new buffet at CP(which I would definitely want to eat at), it just doesn't make sense for me to get it anymore. One buffet is enough in a day, so I'd rather just pay full price for one buffet and save the money and eat smaller/cheaper for my other meal if I have one, since sometimes the buffet is enough to keep you full for a longggg time lol

 

We do it once each trip and find it to be a good deal for us. After traveling we are usuall very hungry so start for dinner about 8-8:30 the 1st day (in March we will start with the new Caesars - yes - don't mind the extra $15 based on the reviews) / breakfast somewhere around 9am or so....lunch and then dinner again before 8pm. There is enough variety to satisfy all of us and we can eat lite at all meals and still feel we get our monies worth. It is sometimes nice to take a break from the casino and just go in for a BIG coke or tea and possibly a small desert.

 

Is alcoholic drinks covered with the buffet price or are they charged separate?

 

Alcohol is not normally included.

You might be able to get cheap sparkling wine if you use it for one of the weekend 'champagne' brunch buffets. They apparently now charge 52 instead of 48 for a weekend buffet of buffets pass so I assume this is why.

 

no booze, and yes its a good deal if you manage to get in 4 meals i did it twice last month

 

May not be such a good deal anymore...the price was increased yet again on December. 18th.

 

really ??? another one of these threads... its like theres one of these once every 1 or 2 weeks now...

NO its not worth it.

its now almost 50 bucks per person. thats not taking into account Gas (if you drive a car) or cab. Its totally not worth it at all.

24.99 was just an insane deal... now every few months they jack up the price because of "supply and demand" ridiculous
