Is there a better feeling than booking a trip to beautiful downtown Las Vegas? Maybe the day you leave? Maybe stepping off the plane into the terminal?

Anyway, three nights at 4Q, and haven't been there since June (seems like a LONG time ago).

One question: Any Scotch lovers out there? Any place where I might be comped some single malt? I've heard the Chicago Brew Co., and have gambled there but not tried to get the good Scotch.

Any help appreciated, and any hot VP spots rewarded with gratuities!

Good luck and Have Fun on your trip!!!
I love my single malt scotch as well. I saw glenlivet at the main bar at the Freemont but I didn't ask for it as I had just got into town that morning and was drinking beer while playing video poker. If you do go to the strip most of the places have glenlivet.

What scotch are you looking for in particular?

I really like Mac 12, but if comped while playing I won't be that picky.

I agree, nothing like walking off the plane and heading into the terminal! Possibly one of the biggest adrenaline shots you can get IMHO! I love walking out of the tunnel and hearing the slots and looking at the sorrow on everyone's face due to either all the money they lost or having to leave LV! 3 months to go!!!

    Us Too!

Wife and I will be there same dates. Staying at MSS with 1 night with an extra room at The Quad (Luv Tub Rooms are fun too!).

I'm more of a good beer drinker, MSS is my fav place to drink and play for just that reason!

I couldn't agree more IU25 other than maybe pulling up to your hotel in your cab/ shuttle and knowing the fun is just beginning.

Agreed Steve, walking into your lobby for the 1st time in maybe a year or more is enough to make you hair stand on end!

I also really enjoy the beers at MSS (can't drink Scotch til evening time). What is your favorite brew of theirs?

    Favorite MSS Brew

The Red Lager is always good, as is the Heffe Weisen. Best beer I ever had there though was the Mango beer about 8 years ago. It was based on their "High Roller" which is a mid bodied and lightly hopped ale. They added just a hint of mango to the brew. It gave it a slightly sweet flavor with just a hint of mango flavor. Couldn't drink a bunch of them, but a few were good.

My problem at MSS is that I'll just tell the cocktail waitress to "start the cycle" and bring me a different brew each time she comes through. I can keep it up for about 3 hours and then I'm in trouble!

That sounds like fun trouble, though, JW! I may try that this trip.

    T 11!

Yep, getting closer to our trip, looking forward to 3 nights at The Cal at $25 each.

Bring on the High Roller Ale!
