we have a 6:30 a.m. flight out of Chicago that will put us in Vegas before 9:00...figure by the time we get to the strip it will be about 10:00..... do they ever offer early check-in? We are comped at Paris, but not sure if that will make a difference or not, I know we can always leave bags with concierge but would prefer to have room avail? Maybe it would depend on how busy they are, we are arriving on a Thursday, so maybe a little slower during the week.

They are supposed to provide early check in if the rooms are available for free to guests in Total Rewards but I don't know how consistent they are about it.

When you booked did you let them know about an early check-in? Or when you arrive at the Hotel you could ask if a room is available right away. Normally if you smoke you may get a room more easily. If they can't just do what i do, especially being there at 10am, just check your bags in, get a dessert at Paris, what better place to chow down than Paris....Bon Appetite.

We can provide a better GUESS if you give a date.

But, if a hotel has rooms, they usually will let you have them. But, they have to have clean rooms available.

Pretty sure all CET props have an early check-in fee running now..I got it at the Rio this past September and the room (smoking) still was not ready until around 1 pm..It was Labor Day Monday if that matters, but it's just a new charge and still not compared to a 'Resort Fee' the others use. But not complaining, you get a CET 'comped room' in AC the taxes etc wind up $20 or so..Check-out in LV and recently in Tunica the cost is $0.00

Why don't you call Paris to find out for sure about an early check-in fee? I'm curious since reading this thread.

In all of our trips to Paris we have always checked in before noon because of early flights and have never had a problem getting a room or been charged a fee. The most recent trip was June 2012.

I always check in early at CET casinos. I have not been charged any fee all rooms have been comp. Only one time at RIO I could not get in at 10am had to wait till noon when room was cleaned.

This is EXACTLY what they will tell you at check in. The 3 times I stayed at a Vegas CET property in 2012 they all wanted to charge me the fee for around a noonish check in. Twice I sweet talked my way into getting them removed (its our anniversary and we really want to get to the room wink wink, or the wife is sick from the flight and needs to lay down sob story both worked) Once, no dice. Money or wait until 3 or 4:00 PM I cant remember which. But who knows, you might get lucky and have a friendly helpful checkin person, but those are getting hard to find nowadays.

Any, if all of the above fail - just go to Mon Ami Gabi for brunch. When we sit out there, we KNOW we are in Vegas.

We've checked in at Paris as early as 9:30 or so and about 50% of the time our room is ready. We normally arrive on Saturday or Sunday mornings which means large number checking out but been pretty lucky. Never have had anyone mention an early check-in fee in the Diamond Check In room.

If you are asking for a room at 9:00 am you may have to wait at least until 11:00 or so.

We have checked in at Paris early a few times and never had an issue or extra charge but it will depend on the day and if rooms of your liking are clean at the time.

Also a smile and a conversation or story can go a long way with their front desk folks! Good luck.
