Do LV poker rooms have Sit & Go tournements?
My definition of Sit & Go: One table, 9 players. Top 3 cash.
I like regular tournaments, but sometimes don't have the time to play for 4 or 5 hours, if winning.

A few advertise them but in reality I have never seen 1 run, maybe Mirage would be your best chance

I have seen sit and goes played in Las Vegas at a few casinos and played in them a few times at Luxor in the past.

It does seem like they were more common in the past, that most of the big rooms were running sit and goes pretty regularly... but not so much lately.

I think a large part of the problem is that often there just wasn't enough players so that they might get a table with 9 players and need 10 before they start, and then the players will just sit there doing nothing for 30+ minutes before the 10th player finally shows up and all the while the floor man is on a mic broadcasting every minute or two to the poker room and patrons nearby (usually slot players) that they are looking for one more person.

I've played in them at the Venetian during the Deep Stack events and liked it. I've seen them at MGM but didn't play.

This. Depending on the day you want play you'll be sitting around waiting for the table to fill. The cheaper tourneys are larger but play like an SnG due to their shitty structure

TY. Went to the site. Nothing about Sit & Go. But it looks like a great poker room. I will check for Sit & Go when I arrive.

When there isn't a tournament series going on in town, it is really hard to find a really consistent SNG in town. They usually have horrible payouts and structures when it is not held at a property which is not hosting a tournament series.

Check on Cardplayer.com to see if there is a tournament series. Good times are when WSOP, Venetian Deep Stack, Caesars Circuit Event, or when the Wynn's Classic is being held.
