Anyone else catch the premier last week on TLC? A bunch of ummm, interesting ladies to say the least. The one talking about eating raw bacon while she was eating raw lamb. Ick. She also hosts a "gun picnic" as she calls it- a bunch of richies out in the desert shooting guns and having a BBQ in air conditioned tents. I guess this is a side of Vegas I have never seen. I also have a feeling there is going to be alot of cat fights going on on this show. I just started going to Vegas 2 years ago, and I can't remember so many shows based out of or based on Vegas in my life as there are right now.

First off, I don't like reality shows. Having said that, I felt obligated to at least take a peek at this one. A rerun of the opening show was on last night and I watched about 20 minutes of it while doing some work online. Frankly, I thought it was one of the worst reality shows I've seen. The "ladies" were obviously playing to the camera and doing things they would not normally do.

Sin City Rules is yet another show that rewards and promotes bizarre and outrageous behavior in a "look at me, look at me!" culture. The drama gets old real fast. And, I start feeling kind of negative and dirty after watching a show like this.

I enjoy reality shows, they are the mainstay of my tv viewing.

This show I wont watch because i can tell from the commercials that they are all too contrived. Same formula as all the housewives show and just about as close to reality.

At least on pawn stars there is an actual pawn shop, and there is an actual ricks retoration.

Have you noticed how they are really pushinf ricks wife this season? she is hot and all but its obvous what they are doing.

Same with the red head on mythbusters this season, really trying to sex them up.

    Love vegas strip.

He is operating way above his station thats for sure.

Having your own tv show clearly has its perks.

It was something else. The only "normal" one is the professional poker player. That Lana chick is a piece of work. It's Real Housewives meets Mob Wives meets Sigfried and Roy minus the tigers.

I am from a town in Alaska that is home to many reality shows.
They are so hard to watch. Expecially if you know much about the area.

Pawn stars is cool though. There is some learning.

Ditto dfalk.....looks like one more very inexpensive to produce reality show. Watched the trailers and it does not look promising.:wink2:

Everything in these "reality" shows is fake and contrived and have been for many years. The reason they are so popular is because most of these "fans" are so gullible. Pitiful.
