    My Trip Report

Wanted to do the big detailed daily TR but day by day i took less notes so ill do it this way instead

Took trip #4 to Vegas last week

    Getting There

Left at 5.50 am on Air Canada from quebec city to Montreal in a dash 8 , flight was on time and packed now it gets good. We were suppose to leave Montreal at 7.40 am we're on the plane pilot announces that maintenance would like to check something out on left engine, its ok but they want to check something inside, its ok too and now here it come he announces that the crew was doing a round trip today and it was a long shift for them and now cause of delay for maintenance that will make them go over their normal day and they had the right to refuse the assignement and that 2 of them decided to do so. On the good side i had a window seat and an empty seat next to me

So they had to call 2 new flight attendant and we had to wait for them to show up so we left 1 hour and 20 minutes late watched we bought a zoo and the campaing on the flight and somehow we ended up in Vegas only 40 minute lates at 11.20am

Grabbed my bag, paid for my shuttle and headed for the flamingo and got tunneled with the shuttle but Flamingo was the 1st stop.

    Hotel

About 10-20 person in line but no one in the Gold card line cute check in girl in her mid 20's was able to get my room right away no early check in fee even mentioned ,ended up in room 24096 facing Ceasars, nice clean room , really happy with it except the no bathtub part

    Shows
X Burlesque at the Flamingo really dissapointing at 95$ for only 6 girls + low production value took a nice 6x8 picture with 2 of the girls after the show for 10$

Peepshow 3 time seiing it obviously 1 st time with coco had great second row seats for only 78$ with a 30$ off coupon from the check in book, just behind coco's sister and personal assistant soulgee that made the 95$ from x burlesque sting ever more when you compare the production of the shows, did the 100$ meet and greet right after and coco was a sweetheart

Absinthe for the 2nd time, got a 20$ off coupon from the guy and got a sweet 4th row seat (1st row of regular seast) Still an amazing show they didnt have the skater last year they were impressive but paled compared to Angel was a hottie wow! Penny and gazillionaire are what makes the show so great

Andrew Dice clay at the Riviera , the place might be a dump but thats a great theatre ,had vip GA seats and the lady placed me in the 1st row told her no thanks and took 2 nd row good thing i did cause the guys in the first row got picked on like crazy ,Dice had me in tears , his opening act was great too

Journey/Loverboy at PH live another really nice venue had a second row seat behind the golden circle when i bought my ticket Pat benatar was on the bill but she wasnt there, Loverboy were great Journey were allright i guess but im not really a fan so i only knew 5-6 songs i got the ticket for loverboy and pat so this was dissapointment for sure

Shania Twain GREAT show, all the hits, visually stunning and so pretty she went into the crowd a lot and sang for a while in the empty seat right behind me i had her ass 2 inches away from my face :) Only thing i didnt like is all the merchandise was for girls

    Restaurants
Not much to see here, im not a fancy eater and im extremely picky Took the buffet of buffet deal twice, Pizza hut, original chicken tenders, nathans, earls, cupcakery , popcornopolis and a fancy saturday night dinner at mermaids

Gambling Im a low roller had 2000$ for 7 days

I mostly play slots(SITC and the Hangover) 5$ video dealer BJ, a bit of sports/horses

Did good on SITC hit the Carrie jackpot on the 1st day, Samantha, Miranda and many charlotes bonus a couple of decent shoe/dress bonus and on the last morning i hit Mr Big at 4$ a spin so i got 2 picks but didnt get it got 75$ and 125$.

Sadly i discovered thanks to this board the 50$ a spin SITC machine at Ceasars Palace so i did it a few times here and there but never got the bonus biggest hit was 290$ but many spins got me nothing at all

Sports i won all the bets i did , the vikings on monday night , to the lakers blowing a huge lead int he 4th quarter, and a miraculous comeback on the eagles for a moneyline win+a easy clippers win

BJ Somedays i would lose 5-6 hands in a row the other would win 5-6 in a row so it was losing 40$ a day or turning a 20$ in 50-70

Horses were not that kind to me this trip somedays losing 4 show wagers in a row but its a great way to kill time, 20$ can last 2 hours easily of you are conservative

Lions share blew a 100$ in 5 minutes got 1 lion on payline

    Attractions

Pinball hall of fame glad i saw it tought i would have a great time but after 5$ i had enough im not a kid anymore i guess, at the bus stop by the MGM met another Canadian who was heading there

Freemont Street No more zipline , all the bands were country or xmas music so i stayed for 2-3 hour tops

Mirage Volcano, Bellagio fountains are always fun sadly Sirens was closed till dec 26

Winter in venice is a very nice show at Venitian

    Random Stuff

Lots of guys were signing autographs( Magic johnson, pete rose, leon spinks, joe montana, roy jones)

All the Miss Universe contestants were at PH Meet so many of them they always had a chaperone and never were alone, everywere they went they always had their "ribbon" wth the name of their country on them they ate at at the PH buffet a lot

Cleopatra barge and bourbon room were pretty fun place

Read by the Ceasars pool a few afternoons, no one checking for keys and they had cocktail service

Not to many hookers mon-tues-weds but by thursday they were out in full force Venitian probably had the hottest one i have ever seen, flamingo had so many, even got approched on the street last night

Not one time share person talked to me( advantage of a solo trip i guess)

Took many pictures with the showgirls/hot chick posing on the strip for tips

The vibe at Venitian /Wynn with people all dressed up is a nice change of pace for a few hours

Lots of cowboys in town, many event at palces like MGM but others places flamingo Ph/ceasars did not go all out country

Saturday night with all the cowboys a +the Pacquio fight+snooki the MGM was really fun and packed

    Shopping

North outlets were pretty crowded bought some stuff at the Calvin Klein and hugo boss stores

Forum shops Got a belt at the hugo boss store

Crystal treated myself to a baseball cap at Gucci You dont wanna know how much it costed OMG ! It was an impulsive buy that i might regret

Gambling results for 2000$ bankroll i came back with 1449$ i really happy about that

Getting back home we left vegas clsoe to 40 minutes late and my connection in Montreal was another 1H20 minutes late, customs were a breeze

Im now gonna try to post some pictures

Your report and, more specifically, your pictures have me re-thinking my upcoming Vegas trip. Maybe I should go to Puerto Rico instead???

Great TR and pics. Seeing as the Miss Universe contestants are going to be there all next week I'm thinking I should have booked PH instead of Flamingo!

 I enjoyed your report very much. Sounds like you had a great trip and going home with a large part of your bankroll is sweet! I would have passed out if I had a shot at the Mr Big progressive & good for you hitting Carrie's. I often do Vegas solo, and it sure is nice not be accosted by the timeshare folks. Great pictures, too!

I just stopped by the PH mezzanine( peepshow theatre level ) every time i walked by PH just sat for 10-15 minutes at the time

The girls always walk by at all time of the day, they always get off elavators on that floor and never on the casino level even when they walked down to the buffet and the show office is right by the spa area
