I will post something in a couple of weeks/months.

    Hello Lady Fortuna

I am a single senior lady and I am free to go to Vegas anytime I want.

Let me know what hotel you will be staying at so I can also reserve a room
at the same hotel. I prefer the hotels without the resort fees.
I enjoy meeting people to eat breakfast or dinner in Vegas.
I also enjoy the Happy Hour in the afternoon at the NewYork hotel.

The month of April 2013 is a long way off so I might not be single by
    that month. LOL. LucyR.

All the single ladies, all the single ladies...

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh... all the single ladies, all the single ladies...

Hahaha! I might also not be single anymore by that time, but then we can always decide to leave the guys home. :Þ

About the hotel, I prefer a hotel on the Strip and certainly without resort fees! I have not booked anything yet, but it will be one of the more affordable ones and not too far north or south (somewhere between NY and Harras?). I don't need to stay at the same hotel perse, I love the walks over the Strip and don't mind at all to meet you where ever you're at (or to walk you back late at night :drunk:).

Happy Hour in the afternoon at the NewYork hotel sounds like a great plan! Let's set a date for that? Maybe you know if it's every day and at what time (I can look that up myself)? And if one day is better than another one? Also, maybe more solo travelers want to join? Would be a great occasion to meet more people! Especially when we do it at the beginning of the holiday (15th or 16th for example). We could even start a seperate thread for it. And/or make it a "single-ladies" night and set the place on fire! Anyway (getting over-enthousiastic already LOL)... but let's set something up?!

BTW: Thank you for your reply, Lucy! The holiday butterflies really start to kick in now!!

    Checked it out:

NY NY Happy Hour Bars, Restaurants, Lounges:

    Bar At Times Square
    Happy Hour: Mon - Fri 4pm - 8pm

    Il Fornaio
    Happy Hour: Sun - Thr 4pm - 6pm

    Nine Fine Irishmen
    Happy Hour: Mon - Thr 2pm - 5pm more

The Sporting House Bar & Grill
    Happy Hour: Mon - Fri 4pm - 5pm more

Which one is the one you like? I guess Bar At Times Square or Nine Fine Irishmen?
Bar At Times Square has great times, we could just move on to dinner afterwards?!

Monday 15th of April would be a good date for me, to start off the holiday. What do you think?

(I'm almost regretting that I started this so early, cause we have to wait so long still before it's April!)

Happy Hour at Times Square, NYNY HOTEL

The best day is Tuesday, starting at 4p.m. arrivals of you all for the Happy Hour at the Time Square at the NYNY Hotel.

It is also a great place to eat dinner because the food is 1/2 price and really good because it is cooked at their Irish restaurant/Bar.
They have great buffalo wings, salads, burgers & fries and other foods.
In the same location are several places to eat Deli Sandwiches, Fish & Chips,
Mexican restaurant, Italian restaurant, and Krispy Kreme donuts, etc.

They have live music with a great singer who plays the Sax and sings lots of songs and keeps the crowd lively and we all sing and also dance if we want to do that. I love to dance free style.
They sell Madi Gras beads right near the Bar and we can all wear beads to
identify ourselves. We can have a BLAST at that fun place. Lucy

The Planet Hollywood Hotel and the Flamingo are resort free hotels that are affordable right in the heart of the strip. My favorite hotel is the Flamingo.
I most likely will want to stay there or Bill's Gamblin Hall & Saloon that is also very cheap and located in the middle of the strip.
I will be staying there on Nov.19th and I will report about the hotel experience. Lucy

Hi Lucy, thanks for your reply!
I completely missed it, kept an eye on my email, cause I thought I would be notified if someone replies to this thread and didn't see anything.
Anyway... Sounds so very tempting, everything you suggest!!
We can do the Happy Hour and have a bite of food as well. And I love live music and dancing!
    Looking forward to the BLAST!

    Hi gamblersruin,

I wouldn't mind that either. Maybe we can arrange something for one of those days?

BTW: I couldn't resist checking your posts on the forum :ssst: just to get an idea of who you are and came across this one:

That made me laugh, so imaginable!
