    Hi all,

I'm low-rolling and can get a Flamingo Fab Luxury or Bally's North tower petstay comped for 3 nights. I've stayed at Bally's before and just asked for a non-petstay north tower room when we arrived. Was happy with the room. Thought we might try the Flamingo this time. I understand the Fab rooms are renovated, but the bathrooms are not really that nice. I can live with that. I like the location which is why I'm willing to try it, but I'm hearing that maybe there's a lot of construction around the area? Is it tough to get in, out and around the hotel right now? (going in Jan).

I might try the sandwich to get a GO room, but I understand that this doesn't always work. If the area around the casino is a sh*tshow, the type of room would be non-factor anyways. Would love your opinions.
    Thanks in advance.

Stayed in a Go room last month and can defs recommend it - very clean, modern and comfortable, both in the room and the bathroom. View from the 27th floor was excellent and we didn't have any construction related issues around the Flamingo itself, but obv YMMV.

My husband and I stayed at Ballys in July 2011 and I thought it was fine but we arent too picky. He stayed at Flamingo last february for the Super Bowl and he liked it much better cause it was much closer walk from the rom to the strip whereas Ballys is set back a ways. We are going again in March and will probably stay at Flamingo then too!

My wife and I have stayed at both Bally's and Flamingo. Bally's was nice and we had no problem with staying there, but we liked the Flamingo better. Better casino, better food choices, and better location..IMHO!

I like Flamingo, I can't say I'd stay in any room but a GO room though, and I wouldn't stay at Ballys...

Staying at the Flamingo at the end of the week. It is easy to get in and out and has all the basics covered without a major hike to the strip. Even with some construction you will be down the sidewalk quicker there.

seems like Ballys is the place you stay if all you want is to be in the middle of the strip with a bed and shower.

    Flamingo rooms are much nicer

    Nail on the head homie.

Ballys is kinda like how i like my women. Convient, to the point and gets the job done. Well.

I will do Ballys in the fall/winter, I have always been able to get a free upgrade to Diamond Floor Jr. Suite at check in, so I have never had to deal w the south tower.

I prefer Flamingo during pools season, the pool is on another level as far as the partying and hot looking girls go.

    Let's see here ... Flamingo or Bally's?

    {flip-slap!} Yes.

They're very different, but both fun and viable. I've stayed at both multiple times, never a bad experience.
