We got a pretty mixed bag of reactions when redeeming our MyVegas rewards over the holiday weekend. A couple of folks were just doing it for the first time. It doesn't seem to be terribly popular with the staff because they apprently have to enter it into the MyVegas system and then transfer it into the MGM M Life to print the comp. Anyway, everyone was nice about it.

-$75 F&B at New York, New York. Must be taken as single $75 comp to restaurant you name. Does include alcohol, but expires at midnight of day issued.

-$50 F&B at Circus Circus. Money loaded onto account for one time use. Did not include alcohol. Lady said it was good for 72 hours.

-Circus Circus $20 Midway Credit. Handed us a bundle of 20 game passes. Single pass worked on games over $1.

-Mirage Dolphin Habitat. Printed out a comp for us and they said it was good for 90 days.

I just redeemed a night at the Mirage over Xmas. They had me call a special MyVegas hotline and they took care of me. The lady knew all about it, she was a MyVegas person obviously. Now, I haven't gone on the trip yet, but I'm confident it all worked out correctly.

There are signs ALL over Vegas, everywhere. So I mean they are definitely promoting the use of their game.

I redeemed the Mirage's buffet reward on our trip in beginning of November. It took a while to get the print out. Then at the buffet, the cashier couldn't figure out how to process it. It didn't happen to us but a family in front of us, they had about 3 free buffets as well from MyVegas. It took about 30 minutes between the reward desk and then the cashier. Hopefully in February it will go more smoothly.

I should be getting 2 rooms. They sent me a reservation with a total of $109 for one. I should be redeeming the for the second in a few days. Looks like a regular reservation to me.

so far my sister and I have purchased through the myVegas:

    1. Tickets to Carrot Top
    2. $150 Dining Credit to Tender (Luxor)
    3. $50 Dining Credit at Mirage
    4. $50 Dining Credit at Monte Carlo

We'll each have another 25k in coins to redeem between now and our trip in mid-January, and cant decide if we should load up on drinks or more food...

has anyone purchased any of the "drink special" credits?? Did they give you any grief or trouble at the bar redeeming them? and I wonder if there are any drink reestructions on them too..

    thanks!

I had no problems at all redeeming the Mirage buffet pass.

The guy at the MLife desk knew exactly what I was talking about and filled out the form with no questions.

    The buffet was good too!

from what I understand, the way it works with the upgrades is the upgrade is only applicable on regular room rates (no promo of any kind). You redeem the voucher, and then you call and make a reservation for the upgraded suite and pay the rate of the standard room.

I may be wrong, but from what I've read, thats how it works.

    redeemed 2 prizes last trip..

$100 Brand Steakhouse at Monte Carlo - Went to MLife and they basically put the $100 on the players card. Didn't have a problem until the lady accidently charged my card with someone else's bill. Other than that, well worth the points for this place. Steak is pretty bomb.

Mirage Dolphin Habitat - Again, went to Mlife. (has to be done at the hotel the prize is located in) Got a slip, went to the box office at habitat and traded in for 2 tickets.

Going to redeem my free night at Mirage this coming weekend. So far easy process, reserved a date and was told just to go to front desk and check in with your players card along with ID.
