What are your thoughts on this years Beaujolais and were there any vineyards that you recommend?

I arrived in Paris on Nov 16 - Nov 15 everyone was out all night celebrating the release and drinking the new wines. In general, I don't like beaujolais nouveau (I prefer heartier & spicier reds) but I drank a few bottles anyway:ssst: But didn't write down any vineyards.....Which is a shame because we had a really lovely white bordeaux one day. I should see if I have any photos or could identify the cork....

One problem is availability, who gets what, where.

I'm with H2, not my first choice, but someone brought us a bottle of this:

    Georges Duboeuf (Beaujolais Villages)

It's a common label, should be fairly readily available. Wine was OK.
