Airport Pickup Questions

    Hi everyone. I'm staying downtown this weekend and I have two questions concerning driving a rental car in Vegas.

    1) A friend of mine (Vegas first timer) is flying in Saturday morning (I will already be there the day before). Do you recommend that I meet him at the airport or should I tell him to take a short taxi ride to a close-by casino (like Mandalay Bay) and I meet him there?

    2) We will be going back to downtown where our hotel(s) are but want to spend Saturday night on the strip. What is the best route from downtown to either self-park or valet to the following places:

    a) Bellagio
    b) NYNY
    c) Luxor

    You could pick him up at the airport, or have him take the free shuttle to the rent a car center an pick him up there, that way he wouldn't pay a dime and you would avoid the traffic at the airport(very little traffic at the rental center).

    From downtown you would prob take the freeway to get to those properties since they are west of the strip.
