Where does the Gold Coast Shuttle stop on the Strip. The site says flamingo and LVB, but that is pretty general....Also, is it pretty crowded, etc?

The shuttle from the Gold Coast first stops at the Orleans before continuing onto Bill's Gambling Hall (at Flamingo and LVB) and then back to Gold Coast. It's often less than half full, but there are also times when not everyone can get on. Like everything else in Vegas, it's a gamble. Unlike most things in Vegas, the odds are on your side!

I went out this time last year. It picked up at Bills in a little stop on Flamingo by the footbridge by the parking garage entrance.

Thanks Turtleman, I had a feeling it was close to Bill's; most likely a throwback to its' Barbary Coast days. I am trying to picture that area.....Does the Shuttle stop on Flamingo down past the Pedestrian Walkway? I am picturing a fence/wall from the Blvd. down flamingo a ways. Is it signed?

    Thanks

OOPs: Adam must of been typing his response at the same time I asked the above question.

Walk down Flamingo past the long line of people waiting to get discount show tickets at Bill's. You'll see the cab/shuttle stand.

Yep, it's right before the entrance to the parking garage. In fact, it's in the same location as when it was the B-Coast.

we've had some very bad experience with this....too many people waiting (esp at gold coast)....bus comes and people can't fit on ......fights ensue (not physical but nasty)

We had the bald-headed guy on the last visit and he was very nice but firm when there was an obvious overload.....he just asked all to show room keys when boarding and I don't think anyone (when that situation presented itself) that was left at the curb. Strange thing was once all the key possessors got on board he boarded 3 of the rest (guess they forgot their key in the room). The problem is certainly not a product of the shuttle but rather a reflection of the times. Sadly.

we have used the shuttle many times and occasionally there is not enough room for everyone.

the driver should ask for a room key and give priority to guests when it happens but normally the shuttle is open to all and no key is required.

there is a shuttle to and from Palace Station which says room guests only but we have never been asked to show a key on that one.

If the Gold Coast Shuttle is full. Use the Rio - Bally's shuttle

Gold Coast to Rio is a five minute walk and also Bill's to Bally's is a five minute walk.

If everything free is filled, it just costs $2 to take the 202 from across the street at the Gold Coast and dropping just beyond LVB. And if your destination is the steak special at Ellis, you save that walk by staying on the bus until Koval. Unlike strip buses, the 202 is rarely crowded at all. It also gives you a way back to the strip if you stay beyond the free shuttle times, although knowing a schedule for early morning travel will save waiting. Some hours the buses run an hour a part rather than the usual 15-20 minutes apart.

While you don't see the Gold Coast stop on this abbreviated map, the bus stops right there at the Gold Coast parking lot when going West from LVB. Pick it up over on the Caesar's side of the strip.

The Gold Coast shuttle holds about 30 people.
