    Hey folks,

So right now I currently have Bally's booked for 12/26/2012 - 1/1/2012. They had the cheapest rates besides IP (Did not want to stay there) so I booked it. I just checked today and it appears I have the 26th and 27th comped at Caesars but the rest of the nights I would have to pay for. I'm thinking about staying at Caesars on the 26th and 27th then going to Bally's to mix it up? Anyone else tried this? I have been wanting to stay at Caesars and haven't really gotten the chance due to them not wanting to comp me rooms! Figured this in my opportunity.

We've split up our trips several times when we 1st started going to LV. Now, we just want to settle in to one place and Caesars never appealed to us due to the size & long walks to the street. If you have always wanted to stay there - why not? Enjoy both places! Hope you have a great trip!!

No problem at all. I did 4 nights at Caesars, followed by 2 nights at Bally's last trip.

You will need to call so that the agent can book the Caesars stay and amend the Bally's booking.

If you do not mind moving hotel, this is a good chance for you to try Caesars. I like Bally's and am happy to stay there, but Caesars is a big step up.

My first choice has always been Caesars because I've heard such great things it's just they never wanted to give me any comp nights! I finally got some so I may try it out and then move to Bally's. Last 2 trips I have stayed at PH and really liked it but wanted to try something different this time. My luck at PH hasn't been so hot... lol.

Switching hotels isn't that bad, and if your bags roll it would not be hard to just walk from one to the other (I did) when moving.

One thing to watch out for ... what type of room was comped at Caesars?

I don't know much about the towers and rooms but it is a Forum Tower? That bad? Hoping I'll get an ugprade anyway because I'm a Diamond CET holder.

Forum is fine. Its the one I stayed in and was pretty nice. Not tub at all but a pretty cool and very large shower. I might have some pictures of my room kicking around. If I can find them, I'll put them up for you.

The one that gets complaints (I haven't stayed there, but haven't heard a kind word said of it) is the Roman tower.

I'm surprised you're not getting all free nights at Ballys if you're Diamond. You should at least be getting through the 29th for free at just about any CET properties.

I split my last trip between harrahs and ballys, to get all my nights comped. no problems at all, and the change of scenery was nice. I'm not opposed to doing it again, to get all the free nights i can...

In april I did Ballys for two nights and El Cortez Cabana Suites for two nights. Rates went way high at Ballys for the weekend, so we switched. Wasn't that much of a headache. I love staying at different places in Vegas, in 4 trips stayed at Tropicana, Ballys, IP, Cabana Suites, Days Inn at Wild Wild West and this past weekend at Stratosphere .

Well Bally's was all free except the 30th and 31st which I have to pay around $200 total for. Caesars I have to pay everyday past the 27th so that is why I was just going to stay there the 2 comped nights. I'm a Diamond but my ADT probably isn't that great as I played a lot of live poker and grind out to get Diamond. It probably took me like 50 trips to my local casino to get Diamond haha.
