    CET Raising Point Levels?

I read somewhere that CET is raising the amount of points you need to get to their players levels effective 1-1-2013
You will need 5000 for Platinum, was 4000
    15000 for Diamond, was 11000
120000 for Seven Stars, was 100000
Pretty hefty increases. It will definitely take me all year to get to Diamond next year.:grrr:

Well hopefully I can still pull Platinum in two trips. Fingers crossed. But it rules out any hope of getting Diamond again.

It's probably overdue. I can make the 5000 for Platinum but honestly, I don't know if I even want to bother. I think I have been to the local outlets twice in the last six months.

Wow - that is quite a big jump on the Diamond level...I probably won't make it next year...usually get about 12-13000... too bad...I really enjoy the perks at our local casino and also in LV...just don't see it happening...geez!

It was $5 coin-in per tier credit, correct? So they are moving from $55,000 coin in for Diamond to $75,000?

That seems like quite a jump (although I suppose Mlife was the same - $40,000 to $60,000 if I recall correctly).

Makes Diamond in a day look like a great deal even if they upped it to 5000(just speculating on that number)

VP is $10 coin in for 1 tier credit, so Diamond requires an additional $40,000 on VP alone.

Any word on changes to benefits?

Any news on this? Read a pretty detailed response about tiers, bonus tier points, etc. on the LVA board. Getting close to 1/1.

There was a post on Blonde's board stating that there will now be bonus TIER points for heavy single day play. But I hadn't seen anything on what will be changing as it relates to benefits.

Personally this doesn't really impact me, and quite frankly I would like to see CET thin out the Tier levels abit, provided they don't water down the benefits.

Diamond used to be great to have, and the level of benefits and treatment was great. Now unless you are Seven Stars it seems like I am ignored. CET has been cheaping up on the comps, so maybe they will treat their players making tier levels a little better.

When asking this question at a TR desk, I was told that there would be additional benefits for levels of 40k tier points and 80k tier points. If I remember correctly, a host is assigned for players that reach 40k and there is some airfare reimbursement being introduced at 80k. They also confirmed there would be days when tier scores could be escalated....ie: if you get 1k points in a day, there would be a bonus of say 500 tier credits added. I will be at a local Caesars casino tomorrow, so I'll ask if they have any material outlining the specifics.

Interesting. If what she posted is accurate I think it at least addresses one of the problems with the Total Rewards program. The success of the program from the beginning was that it allowed CET to identify, incentivize, and reward frequent players who played too low to make it on anyone's radar but were nonetheless very profitable to the casino because of their frequent play. But the downside of these types of tier programs is they tend to mask the value of rewarding players who play big but infrequently. The idea of adding those Bonus Tier Points helps address that.

I would be happy with these changes since by not changing my behavior I would still make diamond. I am sure they are counting on incremental increases when people are close to the bonus levels.

Went to the TR desk today....they are being pretty hush hush about this new program until January 1st when they promise to reveal all. I asked if the info would be posted on Jan 1st on their website, but she thought it might take a few days. She did mention that there would be "new" changes again on April 1st but wouldn't say what. Anyway, not much help here....I will go back on Jan 1st and ask again.

I wouldn't expect much to be posted online today. Even web guys get holidays. Naturally, we are all back to zero but that doesn't take much effort to accomplish at this point.
