I really want to stay someplace different for a change and I have not stayed at either of these places but have enjoyed their casinos. Which would you choose and why? I will only be there 2 nights this Monday and Tuesday. Aria, regular king rm 109 per night with 100. food beverage credit. Cosmo 170. per night for the King terrace studio with 100.00 food beverage credit. Big price difference in rooms but I like the idea of having a balcony, just not sure if it is worth it. Thanks for your opinions.
Where did you find the Aria food and beverage credit? Cosmo has one on their website but I don't see one for Aria. I'm also debating between Cosmo, Aria or Bellagio for my mid-December trip. Aria is my first choice but Cosmo and Bellagio both have better deals right now. That Aria food and beverage credit would make it equal to the other two.

I haven't stayed at either, but I've been to, explored and eaten my way through both of them and I'd go with Aria.. To spend all that extra money for Cosmo doesn't seem worth it. I also just feel there is more to see and do at Aria. Also a balcony in mid December? It does get pretty darn cold in Vegas in December. Cosmo is really pretentious.. I guess it reminds me of here in LA. It's worth seeing of course, but I don't know that I HAVE to stay there. Also it's full of young twenty somethings packing 5 people into those rooms and hanging at Marquee until all hours.
I'd pick the Cosmo, mainly cause I love those dang balconies. So neat. I've stayed there twice. Definitely my favorite hotel that I've stayed at in Vegas. And don't forget to factor in Aria's $25/night resort fee. Cosmo has no resort fees.
What's your gambling like? If it's anything beyond "minimal" I'd take Aria over Cosmopolitan in half a second, mostly because Cosmopolitan's comps are so sub-par.
If you like to go to the club, stay at Cosmo. I personal like the Aria because it's nice and I just gamble. The Aria is more low key while the Cosmo is more glamorous. It's all personal opinion and preference. Good luck!
Aria's rooms are nice, but they are nowhere near as nice as Cosmo's. Not only do they have balconies with great views, especially facing Bellagio's fountains, but the rooms/suites are cool. Kitchenettes, two bathrooms, two rooms, just big and nice. Also, Cosmo is right on the Strip so it's easy to get somewhere else. Aria is nine miles from the Strip. Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit, but it feels like it if you try and walk somewhere else.
I think the balcony would be worth it and would pick the Cosmo. Just personal preference though and the Aria will be nice as well.
Thanks for all the feedback. I'm not sure if I should be concerned about the young crowd and the loud music at Cosmo since I will be staying on Monday and Tuesday but then again I am upper 40's and do I really want to risk that kind of a crowd interferring in my trip? I do like to be in my own hotel gambling late at night. Any more feedback? SBTB - The $100. dining credit for Aria is called their Winter Dining Credit Offer.
My only thought is that it is getting chilly in Vegas so you may not sit out on the balcony too much.
I've stayed at both and prefer Cosmo. I didn't spend much time out on the balcony but it was nice to be able to get out there for fresh air or a smoke. You can also reach the Strip by foot much quicker from Cosmo.
Like someone else mentioned keep in mind that Aria has a $25 a night resort fee which is like $28 after taxes, and Cosmo doesn't have a resort fee.
