I've eaten at five of the places, and think the list is decent. I don't think any order was implied, as each place was put in a separate sub-category.

Man, they continue to leave Golden Steer off the list. Yeah, it looks crappy from the outside but inside it's classic Las Vegas. The beef selections are excellent and the service is top notch.

Food is so subjective. I've eaten in about half of those. I would say they are all good in their own ways, would put a few others on the list too.

What about Dreys or is it Drays? They used to be great. Are they still open? Thanks.

Prime is at the top by far.
Carnevino does not belong on that list.

I really disliked STK. The food was mediocre at best. The service was rushed.
the cheapest bottle of wine was $90. I won't go back.
i had a better steak at Joe's Stone Crab.

Didn't see Strip House on the list which is better than Gordon Ramsey any day.

Haven't eaten at Gordon Ramsey to compare, but Strip House does not belong. It was on the honourable mentions, and I thought THAT was too generous. My steak there was Outback quality.

Stripsteak is one I never understand making the list every time out, I have eaten there three times and while good enough when I want a steak on the south strip I will pick Tender at Luxor every time over Stripsteak. Better choices, better priced, better steaks and better service hands down over Stripsteak.

Hard to believe that Del Frisco's on Paradise isn't on the list... Love that place!

Were you able to use Reward Credits there? It's not listed on the website as being able to use Quick rewards.

Myself and several friends ate at Center Cut about a month ago. Unlike jgates, we were not impressed and said we wouldn't return. In that price range there are better options imho. In particular, the flavor of our steaks was not good at all. We also ordered a side of the Lobster Mac n Cheese, it wasn't even edible and it is usually one of my favorite dishes. Maybe we were there on an off night, but for the price, we won't be returning. I do believe one of my friends did use his Rewards card for something, I think it was a certain percentage off our bill. :peace:

    Hey Tellafriend.
I wasnt knocking Joe's. For a seafood restaurant it had an excellent steak.
i was really just saying how disappointing STK was.
i believe Im going back to Joe's on Monday.

Sometimes I don't know why I open these threads, I know I'm going to be arguing since I'm just a huge fan of steak.

Craftsteak and Jean George are two obvious deficiencies to this list. Take out delmonico and replace with Craftsteak. Unfortunately I haven't eaten at Gordon Ramsey or Old Homestead so it's hard to criticise.

Um, Craftsteak IS on the list. And I wouldn't take out Delmonico for anything.

Ole Homestead is fantastic. Food is on par w/ Prime to me. The atmosphere and spacing of tables leaves a lot to be desired. To busy and rushed feeling. Service is a B-. But again, the food was really good.
