Does anyone know if there are any antique stores that have a lot of antiques and memorbilia from the old strip joints like The Sands, The Dunes, The Stardust, The DI etc. etc. etc. ? I just loved that era of Las Vegas and would love to pick up some trinkets on my next trip to Las Vegas. Thanks.

Check out Spinettis - on Commerce street not a far walk from Freemont Street downtown. It has hundreds of chips from current and no longer in business casinos. It also has some dice, cards ashtrays and other artifacts from casinos and other vegas memorabilia.
    Check out the website:

Mike if you are interested, here is a message board where members and non-members of the CC+GTCC (CasinoChip and Gaming Token Club)
buy trade and sell chips and other casino related items. The club has an annual 3 day convention in Las Vegas every June.
You can find some cool stuff for good prices as the market for these collectibles if amost half what it was a few years ago,and new interest in the club is welcomed.

There is an antique shop a block or two away from Gold & Silver Pawn. Same side of street, don't remember name but they have ashtrays and slots and other stuff.

Yup. You can hit them both from one parking spot.

I went in Spinnettis for the first time the other day, didn't find much to interest me. But if you wanted to find certain old chips, you could probably find them there.

I was just at that place in the next block from Gold & Silver Pawn today. It's called Lost Vegas.

Thank you. The blue Dunes is probably my second favorite, the first being a State Line from Tahoe circa 1950's. Both are uncirculated shape. There is a Dunes like mine on eBay right now not near as nice and they want $400 for it.

Though what someone asks for an item price wise is not the same as what the value might be.

Thats why they haven't sold it yet. They are in investment to me, someday hopefully my kids can appreciate them and they will be worth alot of money. But, if someone offered me enough money for them, I would sell
