Generally stay at cosmo or ph, but both are booked for veterans day weekend. my ph host offered up flamingo or paris comped. havent stayed at either one before. i am a bit concerned about paris, the pictures make it look like grandmas house.

    thoughts?

If service is important, Paris. By contrast, the Flamingo should be more fun but they usually manage to cheese me off so I tend to stay away from there.

I am 30 something and do about 3 guys trips a year. We have found Flamingo and PH to be best suited. Paris, while a good place to walk thru occassionally always seems like an older stodgy crowd. One night we walked from PH to Paris on our way back to Flamingo just to Casino hop a bit and walking into Paris felt like walking into an old folks home.

The casino has livened up a lot since they now have the girls in the skanky costumes (or lack thereof lol) dancing in some of the pit area.

If a Red Room it would be fine, but I would take a Flamingo GO over a Paris standard for 2 guys (You didn't state what room type at each hotel).

As a female I have always been fine in a standard room but not as cool for young guys. My son was ok with it (at around age 25) - but he isn't fussy & wasn't trying to impress any friends - he was with me.

I'm in my 40s and love Paris, but think it's really low energy. I would stay at flamingo. But Paris is right next door to PHo, so that's a good thing... Anyway you can't make a wrong decision.

Actually when the club (cant remember the name) is open at Paris it is a little more lively. In terms of rooms a red room Paris is nice. Also, they treat platinum and Diamond Players very well; the diamond lounge is great btw. The biggest advantage of Paris for you would be that it is close to PH and Cosmo.

I have never stayed at Flamingo, but I always have fun there even if it is worn around the edges. The big downside for me with Flamingo right now is the Linq construction next door.

I last stayed at Flamingo in Sept. The LINQ construction did not factor into our stay. I requested a room overlooking the habitat, we could see the construction, but couldnt hear it.

Thanks for that update captainron. I have last 2 nights of my trip in GO but no view. (view didn't come up as comp - I assume because of heavy traffic due to Great Gift Wrap Up being held). The only view one I actually do like is the south facing - otherwise noise from the Club at Caesars keeps me awake. Glad to hear that construction isn't an issue.

    depends what your into.

Flamingo has become a more young and party atmosphere where as anytime im by paris its cigarette smelled and the vibe is more relaxed.
