    The Wife and I will be in Vegas for Christmas and are weighing our options for Christmas eve and Christmas dinners. Any suggestions for either buffet or otherwise?

    I was in Vegas last Christmas and tried really hard to find a "Christmas" meal with all the traditional foods. I ended up at a steakhouse with the b-team working the grill. I refuse to do buffets after Thanksgiving 2010 where I watched a girl faint waiting in line at the Wynn buffet. Good luck!

    I haven't been there for Christmas but I have gotten some emails from HHAGG promoting some nice holiday menus and encouraging people to book early. They are usually traditional offerings with their twisted take. I guess that's a place to start.

    It might help to include what types of foods you are looking for. It will help narrow it down. Are you looking for traditional christmas foods? Many families have different holiday traditions. I might want mashed potatoes, kielbasa, ham and green bean casserole for Christmas. You may be searching for pork chops, corn bread, mac & cheese, collard greens and sweet potato pie.

    Type doesn't matter, just if you have had a dining experience in Vegas at Christmas or know of a particular holiday menu that you would recomend.

    Christmas eve is when I will try a meal. Christmas day will be too crowded.

    Thats when you will see me at the snack bar in mermaids!!

    We did Christmas Dinner at Le Cirque last year and it was great if you're looking for the fancier end of things.

    The last meal I remember on Christmas day in Las Vegas was at the buffet at Sam's Town. There wasn't much of a line at all. They had their "Special Christmas Brunch" which I'm sure was their usual Sunday brunch at a premium price.

    They had the usual suspects. Roast turkey, prime rib, ham. It was surprisingly good for one of the cheaper buffets.
