Is there still smoking allowed in poker rooms, or have they all gone no smoking? Thanks.

allvegaspoker.com has a checklist that includes whether a room is non smoking. Did a quick look through and couldn't find a room that still allows smoking.

Then again, poker is a really easy game to step away from now and then to go for a smoke, I would think.

I don't know any poker "rooms" where you can smoke at the table. You can walk ten feet away from most casino poker rooms and smoke.

The last time I looked into this and it's been a while, there were a few "locals" rooms that allowed smoking at the table. None of these were on the strip or downtown.

What bugs me more than smoking is people being allowed to eat at poker tables. I lived in Kansas City and would play at Harrahs alot and people would sit there and order pizzas and shovel it in, then touch the cards and get grease all over the f'ing cards. Ridiculous

There are only two poker rooms in the whole Las Vegas area that still allow smoking: Arizona Charlie's and Boulder Station

But as Nevyn said: it is a pretty easy game to get up and go for a smoke break from and for most of the poker rooms on The Strip and Downtown you usually don't have to walk very far to be in a smoking area.

I'm from Los Angeles and all the rooms have dining at your seat which is awesome. However, there are those pigs out there eating with their hands. The chips are nasty too but they don't care. They'll touch their chips and cards, eat their food with their hands, and then repeat.

I totally agree about eating at the table. It's disgusting!

Eating at the table is outstanding! People get more focused on their chicken their cards and make some really bad plays.
