I would have loved to see it during the 1950's. Rat pack and Mob run casinos.

Indeed Zamboni. I didn't get there till the early 80s. My dad worked at the Dunes in the summertime during college in the 50s. Told me great stories about all the old places: Dunes, Sands, DI, Stardust, Trop, Riv, Sahara and all the downtown joints of which most are still there except the Mint and a couple of others.

I wish I would've gotten to enjoy the 1980's era-Caesars Palace that my folks and aunts & uncles used to talk about all the time. :(

I'd be interested to see how the answer to the poll corresponds to the person's age.

Indeed TRN, that would be interesting. I suspect we all have our favorite eras because we were in our youth during those eras. I have nothing to base this on except my own experiences. There is nothing wrong, or alarming about these results. I know that if this poll were taken in the early 80s I would have chosen that era simply because that was when I was there and I had. Nothing else to compare it to. Good observation TRN.

I am 45 and I honestly love the 90's when we got married there with all the them stuff. Miss that era but I voted for and would have given a clean million to be around during the mid 60's to see The Rat Pack.

We started in the early 90s but here and now is my pick, when we first started going while it was a good time every time there was not near as much to do that was non gambling. One other reason I vote today is that being a chef of sorts myself the dining options are the best available and so many more options than ever before.

I indeed currently enjoy Vegas in the current era...I didn't start going to Vegas until 2005 so I got a late start. As I look back at my first pictures of Vegas I can't believe how much Vegas has changed since 2005.

With all this said, I had to vote for the 1950's, I would have loved to see Vegas during this era. Problem is I was not born until 1967, but I collect anything vintage from Vegas, there is something about the allure of the "old" days.

I wasn't of LV going age in the 60's or 70's, when I think it would have been awesome. Frank & the Rat Pack, Tom Jones, Elvis, all would have been sweet.

Yeah, Elvis would have been great. Saw Sinatra three times in early 80s. Would have loved to have been there in the 60s.

Right now! It's amazing. I love CityCenter and all the new modern stuff. My only beef is, I don't like that everything is kind of recession chic. I love CityCenter, but it's a little depressing walking through there and remembering the horrible timing of it all. Also I LOVE the condo hotels.. but I'm sad they have to be condo hotels.

Though when I was younger it was fun having all the "kids stuff" but now being an adult I'm glad that's gone.

I think the best times were probably in the early days. I think that would have been a good time to go.
