    I just got back from Vegas a few days ago and I broke even. I know breaking even isn't a win, but in my mind I won. I had all my nights comped,free play and did not pay for a meal. All the trip cost me was my airfare. If you break even on gambling, do you consider it a winning trip? Don't consider any comps,just your gambling money.

    I bring whatever I can afford to lose, so I consider it free entertainment if I bring home my cash. Yes, it's a win. I always get comped rooms and I have a nice amount of rewards so in general I don't pay much for anything except airfare, tips and drinks in another casinos bar.

    I consider breaking even a huge win considering that more often than not, I lose.

    Breaking even is a dream. I write off any gambling funds before I start playing. If I make it out of Vegas with anything at all it's found money.
    When I have extra winnings, even better. But breaking even...
    It's a win in my book too

    I've been to vegas at least 40 times, won maybe 6, broke even maybe 6, and lost the rest, damn right breaking even is a win!

    I've never broke even but came pretty close and thought that was amazing. Brought $1500 once for everything (food, gambling, entertainment) and came home with $1300. Huge win in my book for all the stuff I did and how much I gambled.

    I'll take it :D I'd rather break even than come home with less money than I took up there.

    That being said, we'll see how I do this weekend.

    Off to the airport in 5, 4, 3, 2 1 . . . :thumbsup::woohoo:

    Next stop: Vegas

    Big win IMHO. I would love that outcome. Would consider the trip a freebie.

    The deck is already stacked against us, so breaking even is definitely a win

    I don't consider it a win, but I still consider it a good thing. Heck, even if I only lose 5% or less of my bankroll I consider it an acceptable trip!

    Yes, that's how I see it too. Definitely a win in my book. And if I come out way ahead, it's a miracle for me, lol!:poke:

    So far I only managed to end up ahead $85.00 on my last trip. But a win is a win and I had a blast!!:faint:

    I definitely think of breaking even as a "win" when the comps are factored into the equation.
