Million Dollar Quartet is coming to Harrah's in Feb. 2013. I got an email for presales overnight. I forgive them partially for booting Legends now but I still don't see why they can't find a new home for it in the Empire.

I am so excited about new Broadway shows coming to the strip! Venetian has rock of ages. I wonder if anyone will get WICKED. If anyone can afford to contract wicked. But I am excited, and I will enjoy them all in 2013 because Broadway shows in Vegas tend to have short tenure. Hope they do not truncate this one, or any one, because the length of the show also makes me feel like a got my moneys worth. It was incredibly hard to follow the shortened Phantom. Next time I will prewatch a Broadway concept before seeing the show.

    Million Dollar or Economy Version...

Awww, the twists and turns of Las Vegas Show rumors...

A few months ago when I mentioned that LEGENDS would be leaving Harrah's the end of September, taking up new residency in the RIO and...would be replaced with MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET at Harrah's, almost seems to be in the works, however...
the ever popular whispers hit that LEGENDS will not be involved at any more CET properties now ???

On the other hand, if MILLIION DOLLAR QUARTET is the same group of guys that WOWED The Smith Center, this could be lots of fun...THEY WERE GREAT!

In that version, Elvis, Jerry Lee(who stole the Show), Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins(the KING of Rockabilly guitar who wrote 'Blue Suede Shoes')... were such a talented group, I'm very curious to see what Harrah's/CET will put before us considering they're so deeply in debt and have never liked spending lots of money on their entertainment entertainers.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET 'can' be a great Show and lots of fun...I'm keepin' my fingers crossed!

I have been anxiously awaiting this. My trip didn't coincide with the performance at the Smith Center. When we are on vacaton the CD of the performance at Sun plays often in the vehicle.

I was never a Legends fan - fine but didn't excite me. However I know a trip companion thought it was fantastic. As did the rest of the audience. So I was surprised it was totally removed from the line-up. Maybe a couple of year break & they can bring it back somewhere.

I seriously thought maybe Human Nature would move up the chain to a nicer theatre.

The title isn't something Harrahs or even Broadway made up for them. That's been around for years. And if you think of it - very, very appropriate.

Of all the broadway shows, Book of Mormon needs to open in Vegas. I just saw the show recently and it's as good as people say it is. 2.5 hours of raunchy and politically-incorrect humor, great songs, and somehow still done in a classic musical style. It would do VERY well on the strip. Think of the potential for billboard and taxi ads with a show like that!

In the past I've thought that American Idiot would do well here, but it might be a bit too artsy and interpretive for the Vegas crowd. So I'll vote for Book of Mormon instead.

Raunchy and politically-incorrect doesn't play well on the strip. Remember how quick Avenue Q closed? Shows like M$Q and Jersey Boys play well because they either remind some generations of their youth and because most people are familiar with the music behind the shows. For most other Broadway shows, limited runs would be the most anyone can hope for. Most are not suited for the long term, open ended engagements the casinos want.

    And I loved AVENUE Q!
I somewhat agree though on the fickeled Vegas audiences...BOM should hit the SMITH CENTER at
some point...THAT'S WHERE WE CAN ENJOY IT TO THE MAX.

I also hope Book of Mormon comes to Vegas. A great show for Planet Hollywood, I would think.

Has anyone seen a seating chart showing how much for talbes, booths, and seats right in front of the stage. I can't find a seating chart with prices listed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Million $ quartet is just a fantastic show and I must see it when I get out to Vegas next year. Thanks.

Hey Barney, Bam Bam suggested this...

    www.harrahslv.com

    'click' Events/Entertainment...
    'click' MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET
    'click' Purchase Tickets...
'click' Find Tickets...then you'll see the seating chart.
Harrah's never makes it easy. It's cheap for them/pain in the ass for us.

Their ticket website is hard to use, CALL Harrah's, ask for the
box office and request where you want to sit.
Booking via the site is always a gamble.

    TWO THINGS TO REMEMBER:
    1. Harrah's sound system isn't the greatest...
    2. Don't sit too close...reason...vocal sound needs room to expand for it to
    sound crisp and clear.
I suggest FRONT SECTION A, ROWS D,E,F or further back (or as close to that as possible)
Any closer and I'd be afraid the vocal...both spoken and sung, might sound 'muddy' because
you're so close to the speakers, Left 'n Right of the stage...set back further if ya really
    want to hear well.

Thanks. Just talked to Harrah's box office and I'm not sure if I really learned much. They seem to be useless at this time. I guess I'll wait awhile and call them in a couple months when hopefully they have a clue as what they are doing. Rather talk to a real person than ticketmasters any day of the week.

Hmm, sorry to hear that, but not surprising.
It's sad. Most CET box office folks are pretty clueless, that's why you need
to do your homework, check the seating charts and advise THEM where to sit.

It'll get better, hang in there...it's still a ways off.

I want to see it too, just don't know when yet and...this type of Show needs a
few weeks to get in their grove.

Even more so, Harrah's needs to get in their groove too.
I believe this is their FIRST Broadway type Show in that showroom and there's
a lot of new equipment to introduce to the showroom AND...the techs to run it.
I wanna wait til they get their act together before I spend my money.
