Just back from Vegas and had a blast. I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental and it was awesome. The best thing about this place is not only the great room, but you didn't have to walk through a smoky casino to get to it.

Can't wait to go back. Maybe I'll pick Mandalay Bay or Bellagio next time.

    So many places to go....

I like the smokey Casino part. It's half the fun, no?

Welcome to the board! If you like non-smoking, try the Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay (part of the same building but with a private elevator). The casino is well-ventilated and not smoky at all.

Welcome, KotaBear! We've stayed at Four Seasons many times since 2005. Perhaps we are getting old , but we very much prefer the quiet and excellent service of an upscale, very small (approx 425 total rooms and suites) 5-star hotel. Four Seasons is like an oasis of calm in the chaos that is Las Vegas. Four Seasons has it's own porte-cochere for drop off and pick up, check-in lobby (no long lines) and concierge, shops, spa, private pool (or you can choose to use any of the Mandalay Bay pools), twice-daily housekeeping service, overnight shoeshine service, and a private (keycard-controlled) elevator lobby on the casino level. Four Seasons accommodations are located on the the top 5 floors of the Mandalay Bay tower, so the views from the Strip-view rooms/suites are amazing.

You probably won't notice any smokiness in the Mandalay Bay casino unless you happen to sit very near a smoker.
