    Hello,

My wife and I will be staying at Caesars Palace for four nights beginning on 10/14. I checked my reservation online this morning, and I had been automatically upgraded from a Palace Tower Deluxe King Room to an Augustus Tower Deluxe 2 Queen Room. First question....I'm assuming I can now check-in at the Augustus Tower check-in? To do this do I just tell the cabbie to take us to the Augutus Tower at Caesars? Second question....I'm not sure why they switched us from a King to 2 Queens. Should it be fairly easy for them to switch us to a King upon check-in? I would appreciate any insight.

    Thanks....

I do not have personal experience for another 2 days but, with that proviso...

You can check-in at the Augustus/Octavius Tower dedicated check-in desk

Ask the cab driver to take you to the Flamingo Road entrance

I cannot explain why you have been switched to 2 Queens. All room types are assigned at check-in. Just ask for a King room.

    Good luck!

definitely use the Augustus Tower check in
My hubby was too chicken to try this :rolleyes2:
but once he saw it he wished we would have
and he insisted we check out there. No line at all...ever.
Also would think it's a little easier getting dropped
off here by a taxi and boom you are right there!!!

It's funny 'cause I booked an Augustus tower room on the trip I'm on now and I ended up in the Palace tower. Still seems like a nice room; his and hers bathrooms attached to a normal king bed room. Dual bathrooms seem almost odd in a nonsuite

Why did you end up in a palace room

I have booked an augustus tower room for next may, if I get put in a palace room i wont be happy as I have paid a premium for the Augustus

The Palace Premium is an upgrade over a standard Augustus room.

Ah that makes sense. I wonder how the system works; I saw in my reservation I had ended up in the Palace Tower prior to going and the front desk clerk said nothing about having to "upgrade" me to a Palace Premium. Guess the computer maybe just does it automatically depending on availability.
