I'd say Main Street Station. For downtown I think that's as good as it gets.

Main Street Station for the following reasons:

    1. Economical.

    2. I have never seen a long line. Wait maybe 5 minutes.

    3. They have a nice selection of "comfort foods" like fried chicken, etc. No fancy stuff, but who
wants caviar and gourmet for lunch, anyway?

    4. This is very subjective, but they always seem pleasant there. not rushed.

Yep, MSS Garden Court for sure. Good solid buffet at a good price. Cheaper if you have or get a Bconnected players card, even cheaper with the fremont street experience buy one get one coupon. http://www.vegasexperience.com/coupons/ password: realvegas

Count my vote for The Garden Court Buffet at MSS. Good variety at a good price.

    Another rec for MSS...

The Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station is our favorite downtown... Paradise Buffet at the Fremont satisfies as well, but Garden Court has a bigger selection and nicer ambiance...

Just got back and ate the buffets at Golden Nugget and Fremont. Both were very average and to be honest, not that good.

For the record, aren't the GN, Fremont and MSS the only choices for downtown buffets.

Another vote for MSS, cheap and good eats. Plus the setting is cool. If you're a male, right outside the buffet on the left is the bathroom with the Berlin wall that's holding the urinals. Cool to see, and made me laugh when I thought about it.

The Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station is my favorite. Looks like it is almost every ones favorite Buffet for lunch downtown. I would also think it is the same for breakfast and dinner.

I dunno about mss, we had dinner there a few days ago and while lots of choices, food tasted terriable and barely warm, but cheap with coupon forsure

Another vote for MSS! We thought the buffet at the Golden Nugget was good, just not as good as MSS!

Thanks for the link for FSE coupons.
I haven't read much about the new D.
New cards for that casino, was it the old Fitzgeralds?
