So I've made a lot (for me) of money this year at the casinos. I thought I'd check to see what MLife had for my winnings/losses on there website. Usually their tax page is very close to my records, however it keeps getting a JSON error every time I go there now. Just me or is everyone getting an error?

I know this has been said many times. But what a !@#$ mickey mouse operation their web IT department is. This is exactly what happens when the bean counters decide not to pay for *unimportant* things (like good people to do a web site). It's only their corporate front!

I book through my host which means non of my reservations show up on their site. It always seems to be flaky.

My host said she gets lots of complaints about the site but she said she never visits it. Guess I should have asked her whether she ever sends those complaints on, but I'm willing to bet she doesn't!

I've been trying for about a week to see my tax info. I get the same error. I'm gonna stop by Bellagio this weekend because I'm being hounded by IRS about 2010 and all I need are my Bellagio losses to prove I owe them nada!

The tax section of their website has been in its current state for a couple months now. actually, prior to the mlife website redesign earlier this year, the tax tab was onr of the more reliable parts of their site (usually available and up to date). Now....not so much

Damn. Am a bit worried if IRS calls.

At least my wife can not see it.

loss statements from the casino mean absolutely nothing to the IRS. i thought everyone knew this. if they are hounding you for losses that you claimed, the only thing they will accept is a detailed log kept on a session by session basis by you of your wins/losses by session with dates and times. sending them the win/loss statement from the website or getting it directly from the casino will do you no good.

I have read exactly what you say above.

And have also read about folks that showed other "paperwork" that has worked with them as well.

I am under the impression there is a bit of wiggle room between what is "policy" and what happens in reality, sometimes.
