Hey guys, I have a bconnected card, BF didn't bother to get one as we just shared the 2 cards they gave me. He's going to vegas end of the month WITHOUT me, I have 2 comped nights that i'd like for him to use. Is it possible to reserve this in my name as if i'm going to be there but have him check-in, etc.... maybe i'm (outside in the car unpacking? LOL)

thoughts on this? give it a shot, worst case he's out another $160 for those 2 nights i guess...? Thanks!

Strictly speaking, no. The card belongs to its named owner and only that person can redeem comps. Those free nights represent the relationship that *you* have with the casino. Besides, what if any random stranger got your card info and booked a hotel in your name as your 'boyfriend?'

That said, I have gotten away with one at a CET property where my wife had better offers, but couldn't come with me. The front desk clerk asked to see her TR card and license, since she wasn't with me. I said that she was in the casino and the clerk stared me down long and hard before issuing room keys. Nothing else came of it, but it was the hardest look I've ever gotten from a front desk in any hotel ever.

Love the Orleans, but they'll very definitely check that the card holder is checking in.....have a blast though, I'll be there in November

Even with comparing free-night comps, I've often found that booking through online sites give me an overall better discount when booking air/hotel/car than booking the room separately. You might check online to see. I generally book Sun-Fri, so the prices are generally lower anyway.
