I don't know about you but I've been addicted to the show since day one. Everytime I watch the clips from upcoming episodes of Season 7, I stop breathing for a minute. I think this will be the best season since 1 & 4. I'm seriously obsessed and almost as excited about the season premier on the 30th as I am about going to Vegas in 3 weeks....

C'mon who else is with me on this??

    I like the show.

I think the season could be ok, but would have been better if it was set up as the last season. Now that they've crossed part of the Deborah plateau, it feels like the show should be winding towards its conclusion.

Got hooked years ago during season 1. I was recovering from knee surgery and had to lay on the couch all day. Watched the whole first season on demand in a day!

Easily one of my top 5 fav shows

I watch all seasons this way. As soon as the season is over I watch all 12 episodes in a row. There's no way I could wait a week for the next one. Actually this is how I watch 90% of the shows I like.

Big fan of the show as well but I've got to admit I was underwhelmed by the previous two seasons. I guess it's hard to follow up the masterpiece that was season 4.

I have seen everything to date. Thought the last season was probably the weakest but I will still tune in for the next. Not sure when we will get it in UK.

its a great show, but its kind of like a roller coaster- some seasons have been fantastic, some have been awful.

Dexter peaked for me when John Lithgow was featured. Now THAT was a great season. But, as I mentioned previously, it was also the end of Julie Benz (though a great shocker). I guess it's fitting both their characters were dispatched in the same episode.

Yeah, season 1 was obviously awesome....got me hooked. Season 4 was easily the best and most shocking. JL makes for one evil sonofabitch. Hated the season with Lumen....just a waste, but I got to see more of MCH without a shirt on :drooling: and last season wasn't too bad, I think Colin Hanks was really good.

This one looks like a nail biter to say the least. Poor Deb -- she just can't catch a break!

I'm interested to see what you all thought about the episode? I didn't expect all of that to come out right in the beginning. I was speechless. A good ol' chase after Dex and the pressure on him to keep the law off his trail is exactly what the show needed. Back to the good stuff....almost as good as season 1!

This could be like season 2 again which would be great. I just wonder how far Deb will go to protect him.

Really liked the episode, and it could certainly make for quite the exciting season.

But I'm still surprised that they are pushing the Deborah-Dexter story so fast. The rest of the stuff (LaGuerta and the creepy intern) are paced as per usual, setting up a season long conflict building to a bloody resolution of some kind. But having Deborah know everything as of episode one is troubling. Presumably they would not spend two seasons with Dexter on the run, and the LaGuerta subplot doesn't make sense if Deborah turns Dexter in.

So that likely means a season of her trying to fix him and fighting with herself over whether to turn him in. I'm kind of worried that that could seem kind of unrealistic and boring after awhile.

I'd like to think that she's going to defend him. There will definitely be some internal conflict for her -- LaGuerta will figure out that Doakes is innocent and put the pressure on Deb to find the "real" BHB and threaten her career....

Rumor has it that the last episode of this season will be titled "Suprise Mother F***er!" Which was one of Doakes's best known lines.... I heard that they signed for 2 more seasons after 6 (so one more after this) but I'm not so sure...

Absolutely. Season 1 was great, and 4? Wow. Last season was dreadful and I fear this season is already off to a hokey start.
