    Still not interested.

It will be the only bowling joint on the strip, yes? Great, I guess. Still not interested in bowling when I'm on vacation. I can do that at home. Yes, I can play blackjack at home, too, but not single deck 3:2 with a $5 minimum.

Tiny Kilt: a restaurant using sex appeal to sell food. Never goes out of style. Not enough to get me to center strip.

Wait now, didn't they already have a Tilted Kilt at the Rio and it went out of business?? Now they are trying again??

ate at the Yard House over at Red Rock, great appetizer food! (also been to one in Scottsdale, AZ)

Tilted Kilt also works, gals in tiny costumes  just like Hooters, if the waitstaff/food ends up sucking I wouldn't go back...but in the Linq location I can't imagine it not working due to the huge influx of people

From the artist drawing in the link provided, it looks like the street they show is Flamingo rd between Flamingo and Ballys. The street looks closed to traffic, and Bills is no longer there. Are these really the plans or is this just the artist trying to make the pic look better than it really will be?

Not saying this would be better, but the pic looks neat. Being able to cross the street to Flamingo from Bally's without going over the ped bridge and dealing with all the beggars would be a plus IMO. Not to mention how often the escalators are broken.

Not sure if thats the correct road its showing...
This is how I see the picture... Although there could be a lot of 'artist interpretation' involved either way...[IMG]

Ok, that makes a lot more sense! I had the buildings mixed up and how you labeled them is right in line with how they are presenting the project. The facade of "the Quad" looks pretty cool!

F.A.M.E. is kinda interesting, but overall the Linq announcements sound horrible. Not unexpected.

So long as it doesn't drive up the price of staying at the Flamingo...I don't care.

Nothing in the list wowed me or struck me as must see, but a few of those things could be fun.

Twisted Kilt may have failed elsewhere, but its location, location, location. If the Linq brings in enough people, and the hiring practices are discriminatory enough, I think it'll do just fine.

Nothing on that list seems unexpected(other than the bowling alley) to me. Bars, restaurants, boutique shopping...isn't that what was advertised initially? I'm neither disappointed or surprised. I'll check it out when it opens like everybody else.

Brooklyn Bowl is fantastic. I had no idea they were expanding, and I'm not sure how well the concept will translate to the Las Vegas Strip (it's in a very hipster-heavy area of Brooklyn, and the music is super indie), but it's a great place and I'm hoping it works out.

I had no idea that a concept like the 'Tilted Kilt' existed.

I kind of want to know what state of mind of the guy who thought, 'You know, I like the concept of Hooters, but it'd be so much better if the waittresses dressed in sexy versions of traditional Scottish male attire!' was in.

Maybe the addition of a Brooklyn Bowl will help continue the advancement of non-Top 40 music on the Vegas strip?

Don't get me wrong, I'm no hipster, but there is far more to nightlife in this beautiful country than just the clubs playing hip-hop, which currently dominate the strip.

More diverse live music and the addition of a Yardhouse and its solid selection of craft beer is a good thing to have more of on the strip, in my opinion.

I know I'll check it out!

that's unique, for sure, but not for me. but i give them points for coming up w/ something not offered elsewhere on the strip, and something distinct, too.
