MGM redone room questions- Smoking?

    Ever since the renovations at MGM began I have not been able to select smoking as a room option. Has anyone had a new room that was smoking? I read an article today that said that all the renovations have been completed. I only book smoking (yes, I know they can not have one at checkin). I have asked on their facebook page and sent them an email in the past...never received an answer. There is a fantastic rate for my dates...so I really need to find out. Going buggy trying to decide where to stay this trip, DH is picky and cheap:nono: Not a good combo.

    Thanks jpw. I just wish when I contact them they would fess up. I have a feeling they are trying to go non but still allow their higher rollers to smoke. Must be a secret request at checkin .
