CET Diamond tier starts at 11,000 points. Are there differences/levels between a Diamond with 15,000, 25,000 and 50,000+ tier points? I know, for example, that in Atlantic City that at 25,000 tier points there is no cost for the Diamond Lounge while those under pay 1,000 reward points. I’m not quite sure why there’s such a wide gap to Seven Star. I’m aware that Seven Star has different groups within that tier, though not published. Is there a level status for Diamonds? Any benefits?

the wide gap to 7 stars is because almost anybody can earn Diamond with just a little bit of effort. 7 stars is supposed to be exclusive like Noir at MGM. there's a huge gap between Platinum and Noir at MGM (at least now that they've reinstated the invite only) for the same reason. they want to have something for the big fish to look forward to that's actually semi-hard to obtain.

I know that at Harrah's Rincon in San Diego they have sub tiers around 30k and 60k. The only real perks are extra event invites and better tickets to all the concerts they have.

Only at Harrahs Rincon are there multiple tiers of diamond. I don't get down there much but I remember it being
    11k-30k
    30k-60k
    60k-99k

There was a posting near the TR desk as to what the perks were. I don't remember what exactly they were but I don't recall anything mind blowing.

I've heard from various CET employees that they may do another tier between diamond at 7 stars called managers club but that's just rumours. The Horseshoe in Council Bluffs has a managers club with special promotions and a separate lounge (much like the diamond lounge) and to qualify for that you need to earn 15k tier credits per quarter. I'd imagine that it's mostly VP players who are in that club as its pretty easy to rack up a few thousand points per session on $1 video poker.

With Noir going back to invite only one can assume it will be much more exclusive. My last trip I earned almost 250,000 points in 2 days which under the old rules would have me 1/4 of the way to Noir. That weekend was 90% baccarat / 10% slots. 2 long weekends and I would have had my 1,000,000 points. I would imagine that Shifter and all the other Noir players on here would agree that no player should be able to reach the top tier in 2 trips with an avg bet of less then $300.

There is a sub-status called "TR Insider" which is for Diamond players who earn 10,000 credits in a calendar quarter. It does not seem to get you much other than an invite to a quarterly dinner/party. For those who have still somehow missed this, most everything worthwhile is driven by ADT, not tier status.

Diamond is, frankly, very easy to achieve and can be done in one day by a higher level player. I am surprised there are not more diamond players. However, diamond lounge access is completely free in Las Vegas, and the lounges at Caesars, PH, and Paris are fairly nice. The food is not good but free cocktails from 4-9 daily is certainly a tangible benefit.

I think people underestimate the value of Diamond tier. Yes, comps are going to be based on ADT, but I've been a low Diamond with low ADT for almost 2 years. Whenever I go to vegas I book the cheapest room in the hotel for free or next to it. And every time at check-in when I request a better room I've always been bumped to at least a jr. suite or higher. I know availability plays into it, but it seems the people at Diamond check-in know your tier and automatically try to get you the best room within reason... THEN you can walk over and get free drinks:beer:

I'm a Diamond at 60,000+ tier points now. I'll be close to Seven Star but I doubt I'll make it by the end of this year. Yes, getting to diamond is fairly easy. Plus they have DIAD, which if you go regularly isn't worth stretching your daily budget to make if you're going to do it anyway. I'm invited regularly to the insider events. I went once it wasn't a big deal they raffled off some prizes plus free food and drink. I was wondering if there is more.

If you're more than halfway to Seven Stars, it would be in your best interest to make the push to get there. Personally, I think Diamond is relatively worthless next to Seven Stars. Seven Stars has a quantifiable value in the form of free airfare, $500 on-property credit, $500 annual dinner, free cruise, annual gift. Additionally, the parties they throw for Seven Stars are pretty good. If you ever go into a Seven Stars Lounge (currently only in AC and Hammond, IN) you'd never want to set foot in a dingy Diamond Lounge again. I'd put the annual value of Seven Stars at $4000 in quantifiable freebies.

A few years ago, before 7Stars got rolling, there were rumors that there were as many as 10-12 sub tiers of Diamond. Now there is a solid 7Star program and a mysterious level over it and a formal level in between 7Star called TR Insider. I don't think that there are mystery sub tiers as much any more.

As to why they even started this: For a lot of local properties, there are folks who visit the casino every week and grind out that 11,000 points. They barely make the tier and their ADTs are probably pretty low. CET treats them a lot differently than people who can visit Vegas or their local location and get to Diamond in a couple visits. For a grinder, they aren't getting offered much more than their lounge visits and their line cuts. I think they try to upgrade every Diamond but it doesn't happen for everyone. And I am just a Platinum and I have gotten some sort of upgrade every trip. Not to a suite per se, but to a better room than I have booked.

Just as an update on this, I barely made it over the 100,000 mark on my trip to Las Vegas a week ago. Now I see the levels in Seven Star. Funny part is that they have a Level I that starts at 125,000 tier points. So now I wonder what the heck are you if you're under 125,000 a big ZERO? Just don't know why they have Seven Stars starting at 100,000 and a level I starts at 125,000.

funny I always wondered about the difference betweeen platinum and diamond if it was THAT Much better

we get rooms in AC on weekends free
we get bumped up often, (the $20 trick and we know who to go to at the front desk)
we get great offers in the mail with free slot play each month, tickets to shows, packages with food comps...

what's the difference between what we get now and diamond?

Diamond lounge access, priority valet/line pass (at some properties), flashier card, bigger gambling losses.

These offers are based on your ADT - not on your level.

Did I mention that offers are based on your ADT, not your tier level?

How do you get the most ADT? I have been to AC in March on a 3 day trip and then to Vegas on a 6 day trip in Oct. Going back to AC at the end of the month for a 3 day trip, and I'm at 9000 TC and will make Diamond but looking for comps and perks. First time making it to Diamond. I'll take a bank roll of 4000 to 5000 with me to AC. Wife plays on my card and she plays slots 95% of the time and I have played slot this year to get the TC up but I want to play the tables when I go the AC this trip. I live in VA and there NO CET with in a 6 hour drive. Any help to up ADT?

Want a higher ADT? Gamble more. There's no magic way other then to play longer or bet bigger.

There is another important point in the CET world. ADT has DAILY in the middle of it. If you have short play days, they get averaged in. Simple math. The thing that killed us before I figured it out was playing $20 on the way back from breakfast on the last morning. BANG - another day in the average.

Just slow down, in a few weeks you will receive a package in the mail which tells you what the different tier levels offer. You are 7* and entitled to everything all of the other 7*s are, with the sole exception that at each higher level you reach, you get one additional perk which is almost always a trip; which by the way, i have never taken.

What can I say, I was like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. I received my package today. I called my AC Host telling him I got it and that no TR card was in it. He informed me that my picture will be taken at the property. This is great I was planning a trip to LV in February with my friend and now we'll get free airfare and limo. Cool.

I was wondering about the DIAD/PIAD thing.

How many points do I need to earn Platinum in a day?
How much coin in will it take?
What time does the "gambling day" start? Like 6am to 1159pm?

Same questions with the Diamond in a day...

    Thanks for any help.

Congrats to your new tier levels...

DIAD is 4,000 tier points - depending on what you play slots $20,000 coin in,
    VP $40,000 coin in.
    Not sure about Platinum.
Gambling day is usually 6:00AM to 5:59AM I'm not sure if this is in all CET casinos or what time clock is used. I would guess local time.
