The Matsing/Blue tribe lost the immunity challenge. At tribal council
Zane got his fire snuffed out and went home.

Nobody liked the way he was playing the game. In other words he was not
popular with bragging that he had an alliance with everybody.

Russell should have gone home for being a dictator. They lost the challenge
because he called the shots on who should do what in the game.

Funny that Zane blindsided himself. Russell caught a break there. Hope he learns from it.

    Lisa the old time actress

Lisa has not aged well. She has a harsh look to her face. She doesn't have a soft look to her face. It is too bad that she thinks she can keep the secret
that she used to be a popular teen actress. The other players in her tribe
don't like it that she isolates herself.
The previews show her having a hard time in the island.

I think Lisa looks good for being nearly 50.

Russell is rubbing everyone the wrong way and I'm not liking him either, although it's early. For someone who didn't "want to be the leader", he sure was bossy.

I'm surprised one female recognized Jeff Kent. He seems to have an ordinary looking face..good looking but no outstanding features. I'm a baseball fan, and he even played for the Indians (my home team) and I couldn't pick him out of a line up.

Really thought Russell was a goner...he drives me crazy so I hope he is gone soon. He can't hide his true personality...aka obnoxious and bossy.

Feel bad for Lisa, she did alienate herself and seems to have a quiet personality. That doesn't play well when the young giggly girls get together.

Jonathan seems to be as obnoixous as he was the first time around, I don't see him being there long.

Rooting for Skupin...but I don't think he can keep up with the youngsters on his team...sorry but laughed everytime he got hurt last night. He will probably be leaving due to injury again this season.

Favorite newbie ...is the young guy on the blue team, I think his name started with an M...he seems to have a brain in his head.

I don't know if I was too anxious waiting for BB or because I didn't know many of the players yet...but I found last night to be rather boring.

Don't expect to learn names after one night-LOL. It often takes me several weeks. I don't even know who is on what color team.

DUH! One ticket, one way, to the real world!

Is there anyone who does not know who she is? If she really wanted to keep it a secret, she could have used another name!

I really don't think she's that bad looking, but yes, she shows her age. My guess is that she either is or was a fairly heavy smoker. Not to stereotype, but blondes who smoke often have that kind of look when they hit 50 or so. Yeah, I know, we can't all be Barbie dolls forever!

Like Big Brother I am not going to read this thread. Just post.

It is going to be interesting how that woman who knows who Jeff Kent is, is going to play him. She can use that
to her advantage. She pretty much owns him.

    The Matsing Tribe/BLUE TRIBE

Candy, I decided to write down the info on the Matsing tribe.

Malcolm is a bartender and has done volunteer work in Micronesia Islands.
The guy is super handsome and very nice. I really like him.

Russell - is the returning man who everybody knows as the dictator.lol.
He needs to be evicted if he keeps being a dictator.

Denise is an older gal who is a sex therapist. She kept analyzing crazy
    Zane who was evicted.

Angie is a beautiful blond young gal who used to run track. So she is in shape for the challenges.

Malcolm, Denise and Angie have created an alliance.

Roxie said she has been in the Military and likes to hang out with Angie since they both seem to be in the same young age group.
Roxie is African-American and is wearing a blue cotton blouse. She has a cute sweet face and is also really nice and proper gal.

I like them all except for Russell who tries to control the tribe too much.

Today's news on Lisa the teen actress: Lisa got divorced in March this year
and went into the Survivor game in March. She was married for 24yrs.
In the previews of Survivor she says she is not cut out to be on Survivor.
I agree with her because she is mourning the loss of her marriage out
there in a harsh unfriendly environment. She should be going for therapy
for the lose of her marriage or just try to have a happy life without her mate. Lucy

I saw the press release yesterday on Lisa's divorce. Divorce and leave for Survivor the same month...that would explain the personality she is showing, that I didn't expect. Bad timing for her. I have always heard that divorce is like a death and that there is a mourning process. Wednesday's show...she did look tired, sad, beaten down....not just appearance but in her voice and eyes as well. I was going to root for her but I don't think she will be there long. Too bad.

I very seldom wish misfortune on anyone, and it's seldom that I'm cheering for someone to get voted out, but that guy gave me the creepies and I was actually glad (relieved?) to hear The Tribe Has Spoken this time!

I didn't hear of Lisa W's divorce. :( Unfortunately it probably leaves her vulnerable and an easy target. I can see some of the stronger Survivors using her and then giving her the boot. :(

    Lisa's divorce

Divorce is like the other person died and your hopes and dreams of a wonderful married life forever is shattered by divorce.

Lisa should have made friends right away with the two young gals of R.C.
and Abe-Marie. Lisa could have gotten sympathy right away if she had told
them she just got divorced after 24yrs. of marriage. The girls would have
been kind to her. They would do girl talk and console Lisa.
I think those two girls were toddlers when Lisa was on t.v. years ago.

Lisa is keeping the secret of who she really is and mourning the
loss of her marriage by herself on the island. Only Michael knows who
she really is in her tribe. He is really happy to see her. But he doesn't
know of the pain Lisa is going through from her divorce.

Divorce is a painful experience even if it is your choice to divorce.

Yeah, well too bad Zane was a moron. His master plan was to tell everyone that he wants to go home. So they sent him home. Idiot.

Well I'm glad they got rid of "Redemption Island"
That thing never worked the way the producers must have
    thought it would.
    It was useless IMHO.
    .
The funniest scenes were the older guy
    hurting himself constantly !:evillaugh
    .
    3 tribes ?
I'm thinking it stops the "one big alliance" which kinda
    killed the suspense last season.
    .
I'm still rooting for Jonathan --
he gives good insights to the camera.

    I didn't like Redemption Island.

I'm also glad they stopped Exile Island a while back, which I thought would be a one-time deal but they continued it for several seasons.

    Survivor forums

Does anybody know of some good Survivor forums? The one I used to belong to has closed down. I can't seem to find another good one. Lucy

    Roxy's torch got snuffed out.

The Matsing/Blue tribe lost the immunity challenge again.
Their new name should be the loser tribe.

Roxy talked real bad about Angie being useless. She told Denise and Russell.

What Roxy didn't know was that Malcolm, Denise, and Angie have an
    alliance.
Next on their hit-list is Russell if they lose again next week.

It was Angie who said their tribe needed COOKIES in order to improve
    their tribe.
Jeff P. was shocked that she said that to him. Jeff then asked Malcolm
about the cookies. Malcolm smiled and said that he agreed with Angie.lol.

LOL, that remark caught me totally off guard, and has to be one of the best lines ever from the entire Survivor series! :)

Lots of sexual dynamics in play this time.

ObVegas: I **LOVE** the Survivor slot! ("GOLD level!")
