This will be my third trip to Vegas and I'm bringing a group of friends including my VV girlfriend. I want to win a room on myVEGAS and use the money saved towards renting a cabana or something while we're there. Between the pools at Mirage/Mandalay Bay/Monte Carlo, which one has more of a fun, upbeat party vibe. I want everyone to have fun, not to sit there and watch baseball drinking $7 Miller Lites. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks.

You could probably throw Monte Carlo out of the mix and make it a contest MB versus Mirage. I'm sure you'll get varying opinions for either side.
My personal preference is MB, just because of the sheer magnitude of its facilities.

    Forget MC....Chef is right.
    .
MB is HUGE...sandy beach that has waves + wave pool.
    .
Mirage pool was really nice w/ a waterfall but I haven't
    been there in recent years.
    .
I don't know about any "pumped in" music ?
I prefer no music at all.
    .
Hey ?....what's wrong w/ watching baseball $2 handcrafted brews ?
I do that at MSS, all the time !:evillaugh

I like all three pools (MB being my favorite), but for a party atmosphere, I would probably go with Mirage

Since you mentioned wanting to rent a cabana I'd suggest Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay.

Moorea is a fun, adults-only, European (top optional) pool. The music has been EDM during our last 4-5 visits. There are several types of cabanas at Moorea Beach (see link).

    http://www.mandalaybay.com/beach/moorea-beach-club/

I should mention that if you don't want to visit the Adults-only pool, there are also cabanas located near the wave pool, lagoon pools, and Lazy River. Just be aware the main pool complex (not including Moorea Beach Club) is often full of kids during the summer months.

    Cheers!

I'll be there in April, so all the kids should still be in school.
