ISLA gone at TI

    Just noticed that ISLA is no longer on the restaurant list at TI and they have a new place (opening fall of 2012) called the Seafood Shack that boasts a bar that looks over the casino so I'm guessing that is the old ISLA location.

    Hmmmm....as I recall, this was a favorite of Kikky's (where is she anyway???) and she might be lil' pissed off about this.

    Can anybody confirm this?

    Yes, Isla is indeed gone and has been replaced by The Seafood Shack.

    Oh man....ISLA is gone? :cry: ISLA was on my list of must places every trip....I just looked at the Seafood Shak menu...hmmmm not sure about this, depending upon the quality it may be ok will have to see. Looks like TI is going after a different clientele with the restaurant changes.

    Just to clarify it was the orginal Chef and he departed Isla a couple of years ago but the food at T&T is really good. Seafood Shack looks a bit like Joe's Crab Shack I think

    Ok, thanks...I will have to check out T&T...I just looked at the Seafood Shak menu...hmmmm not sure about this, depending upon the quality it may be ok will have to see. Looks like TI is going after a different clientele with the restaurant changes..no reason to go to TI now.
