So it's very late in Las Vegas and you've had many many drinks and your stomach says FOOD. Time to find the food...where is your favorite restaurant or cheap eats place?

This is my philosophy. Whatever is within stumbling distance. I used to just go the hotel's 24 cafe. Place an order to go, come back in 15 minutes to pick up my order and just take it to my room.

Generally Pizza. Earl of Sandwich is good, but honestly the wait can be pretty long.

So generally this means either pizza at Cosmo or NYNY wherever I'm closer to. I don't really have a goto place down by Mirage/V/P as I don't stay down that way anymore.

Carnegie Deli at Mirage is open 24 hours and has many options other than sky-high sandwiches, including some good breakfast choices. A bowl of the matzo ball or golden noodle soup might settle your tummy too (tho I always go for the amazing stuffed cabbage roll).

777 Brewpub downtown. Their late night menu isn't as robust as their main menu, but that place simply tickles me.

Honest, good food for very reasonable prices. And the best beer in Vegas for when I decide that I really haven't had all I can drink.

On Las Vegas Boulevard in the strip mall just north of the Wynn/Encore is Tacos El Gordo. They are open until 3 AM during the week, and 5 AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Taco are $2

I also crave the Pulled Pork Sandwich at Grand Lux on the late night menu.

Strip Burger is open until 2 on Fri and Sat and 1 on Sun-Thurs.

Steak Special at Ellis Island 24/7.

The Oxtail Soup special (11pm until it runs out) at the Market Cafe in the Cal. There's nothing like it back home. I crave it between trips and have to have it at least once whenever I'm in town.

I have no doubt their food is good. I just have a hard time paying $15+ for a sandwich when I'm drunk. When a great reuben tastes as good as the mcdonalds across the street, I might as well save $10+.

Oh and side rant. Those of you from New York. You don't need to make every sandwich have as much meat as 5 regular sandwiches. Your mayor just outlawed large soft drinks. Maybe the 1+ lb sandwiches can share a little of the health blame. :) Those sandwiches sure are good though.....

The cafe @Flamingo (Tradewind?) graveyard filet and egg special was about $5 when i was there in April.
Earl of Sammich is great and cheap.
Magnolias @4Queens - love their Teriyaki skirt steak and eggs late at night.
Main st cafe @Cal has lots of late night specials but whenever i go there late its packed with Hawaiians and i dont feel like waiting 15 mins for a table.

We do the food court at Monte Carlo... wife likes the Chicken Parm and/or a slice of pizza from Sbarro's... I'll usually get a salad and McNuggets from McDonalds or go to Subway

    Ditto!

Last month I was there about 10pm, drunk and very hungry, couldn't believe how long the line was that late. But it was worth the wait! :nworthy:

If you are in the mood for breakfast food, Bill's Victorian Cafe has a late night breakfast starting at around 11pm. It's a good deal for $4.99 (I think that was the price). You get a huge amount of very good food.

I agree with Victorian Room...nice food, some good deals. Most of the big casinos have pretty good 24 hr cafes, and there are tons of fast food places all over. I also wanna do secret pizza one of these days.

Like CinnamintStick, I like Tacos El Gordo it's an easy in/out. However, I LOVE the tacoria next to Dino's. I also need to point out Ellis Island...

Another vote for the Victorian Room at Bills. Great late night specials and the food is REALLY good.
