You won't tend to get it comped on the floor of most properties. MGM hotels are weird with beer. They'll have a decent selection, but that selection is never the same. For example, two trips ago I was drinking Fat Tire. This time I asked for a Fat Tire and was told that Sam Adams was their amber that they were comping. Not a bad tradeoff, just an example. Try playing bartops for the best selection of comped beer.
Heineken? Seriously? :confused2: I’ve never seen anyone be turned down for a Heineken…anywhere…at any level of play. Is this something of a new phenomenon?
Thanks all! Good to know, and I like other drinks aswell but really enjoy an ice cold heineken. *me go get one out the fridge now*
Mike I have gotten Heinies at every MGM there is, it's the one I know for sure they all have. Now when it comes to Fat Tire and other good beers thats hit and miss but Heinies are everywhere.
I guess I stand corrected then. I've just never seen them serving it -- I've never actually asked and gotten turned down, because it's not my thing. I've seen them serving better, for sure.
They sure do on the el-cheapo Penny Town slot floor at Sam's Town, or at least they did over the holidays last year!
I get Heineken's because I know they have them everywhere and they are not Bud Light. I've had so many over the years I can't keep count and I've never not gotten them comped. I'd order better beer but you never know what they have. I ask "What beers do you have?" and nine times out of ten they come back with "What beer do you want?" That's no help.
Me either, sitting at a slot or a poker table, and Heineken is only beer I order. Never been turned down. Same with FIJI water.
Don't they have just about every beer in L.V.? Last time I was there we were getting Guiness comped. Yum, I love it
Heineken is pretty much all i drink whilst playing at the tables, never been turned down for one anywhere on the strip.
