I think I earned the 10,000 tier credits this quarter to get the TR Insider Invitation. What can I expect to get?

TR Insider is by invitation only, and is not only based on your quarterly Tier Credit earnings. Once you have earned the required 10,000 Tier Credits in the quarter, your account will be reviewed. During the review process, many factors will be considered, including your level of play. If it is determined that you qualify for TR Insider, an invitation will be sent to you.

It also says insiders "get lined up special events and tournaments to show our appreciation. And Dinners. No canned beans, we promise"...

Please keep us posted if you get approved to become a TR Insider

Great! I feel like it is Grammar School all over again hoping to be picked for the team.

Its like running a race and waiting to see if you won a medal. I was speaking to my host, he told me 10k tier credits have do be accumulated in a calender quarter (Jan - Mar, Apr - Jun, Jul - Sep, Oct - Dec). I 'earned' 12k tier credits in June, July, and August - he told me that it needs to be in a 'calender quarter'... All these rules / regulations for something that probably isn't 'anything that special'...

I've been invited locally (AC) to cocktail parties with drawings for cash and prizes. Sometimes other events.

    In one statement "Not Much".

I have been an "Insider" since they started the Chairman's Club last year.
IMHO opinion, the Insider club has become what the Diamond status used to be. Back in the early days of TR if you made diamond, you could pretty much count on at least getting a slot host, offers to free parties, month gift giveaways, multipliers, etc.

Insider gives you access to what used to be the Diamond parties at the casinos outside of NV. They usually do these once a quarter and then have some BS promotional event the other two months.

I rack up around 40k+ tier points a year and have only noticed two things.
I can always get a room in vegas for any dates, although now it seems to be Flamingo, Harrahs, Rio, and Ballys. I always get a phone call from a host on property, usually on my room voicemail asking if I need anything.

I get a lot of mailers for Vegas promotions and tournaments, but really I would expect those anyway with my ADT. Personalized service has gone to crap at CET, including the local properties where I enjoyed a relationship with a Host. I have pretty much deceided after this year, I will only visit CET to suck free booze in their diamond lounges and enjoy my comp show tickets.

All my play next year will be focused at one or two downtown joints or Cosmo both who have given me great service and attention while on their property.

Some of those offers have dropped in value.

    Two recent ones in Tunica:

Come to our special invite only party to be held in xx room. Free drinks, etc. And here comes the biggie. Win your share of $1,000 in free play to be given away. $1,000 buck across maybe 50 people or so? Give me a freakin break.

Next one - come to our party and pick your choice of android tablet, protable DVD player and something else. Retail value? About $120.

Nice, but surely nothing to get excited about. Remember, these are people that do $5k of coin in on a visit.

Agreed, and it seems like these events are more about giving the casino a bump in revenue for a given date, then an appreciation event.

I personally don't like going unless it is a high end event, since the casino is usually packed, table limits are higher, and I have to compete with other players for limited gaming space (Can't play my favorite machines, or play tables at level I want.)

When I attend the events I usually go enjoy the event with my wife, eat the free food and booze, and leave.

I much prefer to go and gamble when I want and the crowds are not so massive. I find going to Vegas 4 to 5 times a year with a 2 to 3K bankroll for 3 nights is more enjoyable for me anymore.

i now realize i reached it a while ago and apparently have continued to. in other words, they don't give you shit else than you would otherwise get for asking beyond a "speical party" you could probably get into anyway.

It is kinda disappointing to here some of the thoughts about the TR insider. My host called today. She is new to me but I really like her. She seems to give to me without me asking. I am not the type to beg. What I did find out from her is I only need to qualify by tier credits alone. But she could not say what I would get, only invitation to special events. I will let you know how it goes.

    CB insider for September

September we got a free cruise with NCL a CET partner. We also got free luggage, it was kind of a huge cluster F. And you had to go on three or four days to get everything. My host delivered mine to my work... ( Another non cet casino down the street)

I qualify each quarter and each quarter I laugh at the Insider events. They're never anything that would get me to make a special trip to my local CET casinos. It's not that I'm snobby with my offers, just $300 in value-add would be enough for me.
