Just booked 3 comped nights and 300 dollar freeplay offer at the Wynn. They actually upgraded us to the Encore so no complaints! Gonna do the 14 hour drive this trip as airfare on short notice was off the charts and besides Im not gonna complain about spending that time with the wife!
Anyone else taken advantage of this offer? Any pitfalls? I know about and expect the resort fee so no issues with that.

I'm on a different offer for a 5 day stay. The hotel is a bit pricey on food and beverage but that's to be expected, your at a 5 star location. Your wife is going to love it!

Out of curiousity what kind of play does it take to get that kind of offer there? I'll be staying there in December for a wedding and was wondering if I should throw some play there in my next few trips.

Any upfront comped nights I have had in the past - there has been no resort fee charged. Only time I was charged a resort fee was when I paid for the room nights in advance, and they were comped off before check-out. Host said he couldn't comp the resort fees but comped off the room rate.

Love the Wynn! It's beautiful hotel in a nice location. That being said, food and amenities are very expensive (but that's relative).
    Enjoy!

I'm curios of this too. I'm headed to Vegas in a couple weeks and was thinking about concentrating some of my play here to try to get free rooms.

I probably played about 1k or so. I understand that they send these out occasionally to low/moderate players and it is a one time offer, use it or lose it because it wont be sent again. Ours was good from 9-2 to 12-27.

Ah ok that makes sense, i did the same thing with palazzo a coupla times. Not to nitpick but how'd the 1k go? From what i understand it's more about how you lost it rather than the flat amount, because there's countless theos that could've been turned into.

We buried our grandson several months ago from SIDS and her mother two weeks ago and she said she "needed some Vegas" to get her mind right. We usually stay at Ballys or Paris but she is already excited over this trip even tho we were there in May. Funny how the offer came along at the right time.

We just played slots, usually 1 and 5 dollar. We hit quite a bit and put most of it back but our total loss to our bankroll there was about 1k. Hope that helps.

I haven't played at Wynn in several years, yet still get 2-3 offers from them, usually 2 free weekday nights and 150 freeplay. I may double book with them this next trip, since we plan on eating a meal there and doing some gambling.

The road trip is great! Most of it is along Rt 66 and we have found some really great places to stop. I highly suggest the trip. Always fun to be "standing on a corner in Winslow Az"!

i used the exact same offer in may. we also switched and got a suite at the encore. i had played at wynn/encore every trip the past several years. normally a green chip player with a little slots and vp sprinkled in. we loved the room at encore. from check in to check out you'll get nothing but great service. i mostly walked over to wynn to play. encore casino seemed a bit dead at times and didn't seem to have as many tables open. i talked to a host on our last day. i told her i realized that my level of play wouldn't normally earn me a free room but at my level, would anything be possible. she said i should call, especially if i'm coming out midweek and she was sure she could do something. i can't remember the last time i had to pay for a room in vegas but the encore is the first place i've stayed that i would be willing to pay something to stay there rather than use a freebie somewhere else. i'm not crazy about the location for some reason, wish they hadn't tore down the older properties that used to be on that end of the strip. have fun and good luck
