I hate everyone of them , go away I am on vacation and do not want a frigging time share.

I am looking for some good / silly ways of answering them / getting them to bugger off sharpish.

Some of my ways are to speak French or German , or tell them I am from Kazakhstan or lichtenstein. Or what am I going to do with 2 of them, or I may sound Scottish but I actually live in Henderson

What is your favourite way of getting rid of them

Husband says "We aren't the droids you're looking for" before they can get a word out and it seems to work.

Any time any time share/business/charity (how do I know it's a real charity?) solicits me on the street I simply say " Already got your product (or already donated!) , it's great!" and that's the end of it. Works every time.

It's simple, when you are approaching the time share people, split up and become solo. They won't bother you if you are alone. Then, after you pass them, which will only take a second because you are "alone" and will never be stopped.......just converge and be on you merry way.

I dislike time share people more than I do porn slappers. The slappers line the sidewalk and try to hand you their fliers and make that slapping noise, which gets annoying, but they are not as intrusive as the time share people.

I don't believe in starting conversations with "are you in town tomorrow night?" or "would you like to see a show?" To me, it's rude to approach someone and try to engage them by saying anything other than "excuse me", "hello" or a similar, polite greeting.

Some may say I'm rude about it, but if I feel someone is being rude and intrusive toward me, I will respond in kind. That being said, I offer five words to everyone that tries to hit me up and I continue on my way, not even looking back: SORRY, I DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH.

If anyone has seen dumb and dumber I look at them and make the most annoying noise in the world unless they say " can I ask you a question" to which I always reply you just did

I normally usually just kind of smirk and shake my head no, while walking away. One time, I was having a really bad losing trip and hubbie and I were arguing about something stupid when a TS person approached us. I about took their head off. Hubbie was shocked, absolutely shocked. I am normally a very nice person, lol.

I think they both suck. The porn slappers are more annoying to me, especially when i'm walking hand in hand with my wife and we just happen to be the only people on the sidewalk that moment. Should make them all go away. The strip would be more enjoyable with all the damn hawkers gone.

Yeah that works for me too because for the most part they target couples. I just put my arm out like a cop saying stop and that shuts them down in their tracks.
But if you think it's bad in Vegas you wouldn't beleive how aggressive they are in Atlantic City. I had a woman practically running to catch up to me when I stopped
and said very loud Get the hell away from me! Another time I used my stop signal on a gal who then chased me down and tried to go all gansta on me. Very aggressive.

I love the porn slappesr. My wife and I take every card we are offered. They provide hours of entertainment when we get back home. Most of them end up under the windshield wipers of our friends cars.

I believe a simple but polite no thanks and keep walking is the best option. Let's not forget that there just trying to make a living and put little Johnny threw school just like the rest of us. I don't think there's any reason to try and make it a point to be rude or belittle anyone. Just my opinion though.

But what do I know. Hell, Kick em in the balls and say "you f*ck on me". In your best oriental voice.

I scream "LOUD NOISES" in their face at the top of my lungs.

It slows them down a beat.

Making a living is no good excuse for harassing people and trying to deceive them. There are plenty of honest ways to make a buck. People who offer real value to their target customer don't have to chase them down and use slight of hand to make a sale. They deserve all the grief they get.

Unfortunately, sometimes they are hard to ignore. When Planet Hollywood was hawking their new condo tower and I was staying there a lot, they had desks set up inside the casino to harass everyone who walked by. I'd get hit up every time I went to take a leak. This wasn't just a verbal assault, but some of them would actually step in front on you to impede your progress. I finally unleashed a tirade at one group of them and said if anyone blocked my way again they were going to knocked the ground. Worked for the rest of that shift anyway, lol.
