Maybe it is just me but it always seems that no matter where I am in a casino, the nearest bathroom is a block away. The size of the bathrooms are not an issue (never experienced any lines) but it always seems like there should be more bathrooms or that they should be placed more strategically within the casino. Anyone else feel the same way?

I have had several experiences in large casinos where I was at a table or with a group of friends and I take off to use the restroom and can't find my way back to the table or my group of friends for 10 min.

I wonder around to find the can, then wonder around to find my way back. By the third trip I get it figured out no matter how drunk I am.

I think MB has the worst bathroom to casino ratio.

OMG!!! We stayed 7 nights last November at Mandalay Bay and I didn't once find a restroom to go to. I just learn it was quicker to head to the room.

Guess I've spent too much time in casinos, because I never have trouble finding the restrooms. When in doubt, walk along the outer wall, and it shouldn't be far...

Go with CoasterKikky! :haha: She has some kind of uncanny, "RainMan-esque" ability to point you to the nearest bathroom in every casino. Or at least every one I've been to with her.

I wonder about the locations too. We've all heard the stories about how casinos are designed to disorient you and turn you around. I wonder if the bathrooms aren't always at the back or center of the casino just to make sure you walk past as many games as possible. :wink2:

One reason I LOVE Paris!!!!! Restrooms near the new nightclub, restrooms in the Sports Book, restrooms near the Eiffel Tower entry (near hi limit), restrooms adjacent to check-in (hallway). And a small one near crepe stand in the hallway. One in buffet.

Who knows - maybe I have even missed one set!!!

Ballys - not quite so great but one set by Nosh & one in the back. I understand there is one in the Hi Limit area too? But have never gone past the first set of machines there. At least they are easy to find.

Caesars? Give me a break. I think the ONLY ones I have found are one set near some entry doors & one set in the basement near the theater.

Flamingo needs some help but I can survive - At least the one huge set has entry doors on both ends. So pretty much like two sets of restrooms. Just wish they would have stuck a small set in Margaritaville casino. They at least have a set near buffet & restaurant too. Is there maybe a small set near poker room too?

PH - I think I have only found one set in there & geez - not easy to find. Back right side near elevators. I'm sure there are more somewhere - give me a clue. And at least they have a small set at buffet.

Harrahs - up front near Range & against wall in hi-limit area vicinity. Up near Toby's I believe. However - WHY would you not have at least one or two stalls in a dining area (such as buffet). Had to go all the way across casino.

IP - small enough that one set is ok - BUT again why would you build a huge new restaurant & have to make people go back downstairs to the restroom. Good grief. (HHAGG).

Ya they always seem to be a mile away from where I'm playing, especially at the tables. You know your at my table if you hear someone bitching "Well guy's I gotta go piss, be back in 30 min if I don't get lost" And I always get lost cause its 3AM and I'm 25 beers deep.

I always take pride in knowing where the nearest bathrooms are in the casino I am at. I feel that it brings out my true degenerate side that shows my obsession with Vegas. But yes, there could be more smaller bathrooms that are spaced out a little better because it can be a hike depending on where you are playing in the casino.

Another reason I like M. They have enough strategically placed sets so you don't have to walk a mile. It's one of the things I don't like about the Flamingo. That one set there is too far away from where I'm usually playing.

Get a casino floor map on your smartphone. It shows where everything is, even the John. And they are usually free

i love the bathrooms in the HL room. always close by and in good shape. if you're ever walking around a casino looking for a bathroom, stop by the HL room and use the bathroom. i use them even when i'm not playing in there for whatever reason. better than anything on the floor and you know exactly where they are.

    Bingo.

The Aria HL restrooms are both convenient and hospital clean.

Some floor sup. tried to tell us that the gold walls are real gold, but I suspect he might have been hopped up on bath salts.

There is a reason there are no windows or clocks in a casino. Just like there is a reason washrooms are hard to find in casinos. They want you to think twice about leaving the table cause it's so far to go to the washroom. Instead you'll sit and play longer while you're really uncomfortable.

Casino's do everything for a reason.

I know I have posted this before but... Years ago at the Luxor, hubbie and I split up, he went to play BJ and I went off to play slots. When I finish and am ready for bed, I usually go and find him and off we go. Except this time, I found some winning machine and kept filling up bucket after bucket of quarters. I couldn't lose on it. Obviously this was before TITO's and cell phones. Yikes, showing my age. And, the whole time I am drinking and I can't leave because of the buckets, that I now can't carry them all by myself. The horrors, lol. Hubbie finally finds me and I have him sit down and just keep pressing the max button while I run to the restroom. No way could I make it to the room first. I was in such a hurry that I paid no attention to where I was going and upon exiting had NO idea where I was sitting. I walked and walked that casino. I finally found security and explained, in my drunken stupor, that I was sitting close to one of the small cashiers that casinos used to have placed all over the floor. And then I walked and walked with them till they finally just gave up too. I was like 'why can't you just call the eyes in the sky guys to see where I was sitting?" They about peed their pants. I finally found dh, but I was gone a LONG time, lol. Was he a tad aggravated. Now i know the layouts of the casinos much better and we have cell phones, so that experience won't be replicated anytime soon. ROFL

I'd guess this is a bigger problem for those that do a lot of casino hopping. I become very familiar with the hotel we're staying and playing at and I get to know exactly where the bathrooms are....espcially in the AM when I'm drinking coffee:confused2:

I think Wynn & Bellagio both have a good selection of easy to find bathrooms off the casino floor. I'm terrible at directions and get lost all the time.
Thank god for text messages that is of course if there's a good signal in the casino and the person you are calling knows her damn phone is buzzing!

Onetime at the Beau Rivage I got lost and couldn't find where I had been sitting. I kept calling my friend but she wasn't answering her phone so I gave
up looking and just went up to the room. Eventually she came up and wondered where I had been. Now she knows not to put her phone on mute and
if all else fails the agreement is that no matter where we are she is to check the hotel room first before sending out a search team for me. Ha!

Mdee, so funny and so true. I don't even try calling anymore since dh usually won't get up from a BJ table. We just text, that way when he can step away I know where he is, lol. Plus we have our own little acronyms. WRU? or if really mad WFRU? Responses include IF (in front..and we know exactly what that means, lol) or BC (by cage), amongst others HAHA
