For anyone interested, read in AC Press today that NJ has retained a high powered law firm to defend NJ against a lawsuit brought by the NHL,NBA,NFL,NCAA,Pro Baseball and god knows who else to overturn the law allowing Sports Betting in AC. I hope I get my moneys worth from these guys, just another Jersey Joke as far as I'm concerned.

Do you think it is a joke because they have no chance at winning? A waste of tax-payer cash?

I would love to see the ban overturned, but I think the proper channel might be through legislation rather than litigation.

Maybe I didnt express it right, sorry

The NJ Legislature passed a law ,in direct violation of federal law allowing sports betting. The Sports leagues are suing NJ to overturn this law,to not allow betting even though it's in direct violation of a federal law.to begin with. NJ retained a big law firm from DC to fight the sports leagues at taxpayer(I assume unless the casinos are paying) expense. Our Gov. is behind this 100% so it must be one of his hard truths that we dont want to face. So having said my peace, you can draw your own conclusions of where I stand ,Joke?maybe, but I just live here and pay taxes so who am I to complain?
