Wizard of Odds has an excellent craps game. I have played it offline but cannot remember how. I think it was just a question of selecting 'make available offline' or similar in IE, which copies some files to your laptop. Perhaps someone more tech savvie than me can help.

For VP you could download WinPoker from Zamzone. Decent software but only JOB for the freeware version.

Video Poker.com has a good training software package you can try for free and/or buy for $19.95. Here's a link:

I'm sure it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Video Poker for Winners that Bob Dancer puts out, but it's a good alternative for a cheaper price.

    Wincraps at http://www.cloudcitysoftware.com/

You can download the unlimited nearly fully functional trial version that has an occasional pop-up notice asking you to register the game.

I know you said laptop and free...but...

If you have an iPhone/Pad I highly suggest WinPoker. I think it is $10 for the universal version. Sadly there is no android version.

Most, if not all, of the online gambling websites will have free software you can download and play their games on.

You can usually find the jewel case version of Hoyle Casino at places like Wal-Mart or big box electronics stores, for around $10-20. It has almost all the casino games and has a training mode as well.

videopoker.com is a good place to find all things video poker. They will have all the standard games plus for a paid membership you can get access to some of the different variants of video poker (IE: spin poker, dream card poker, wheel poker, etc)

I also use the WinPoker app on my IPhone and it was well worth the $9.99 that I paid for it. There is no doubt that it has made me a much better VP player and I have recouped that $10 many times over. I am getting an IPad soon and I will be buying it again to have it there.

I have downloaded some free programs but nothing seems as user friendly and helpful to me.

I was going to tell you the iPhone version can be downloaded to you iPad for free if you have it on the iPhone. Now I see an iPad version. I will have to get it too. It is 9.99 as well. I am usually a free only app guy, but this app has been well worth it.

100 play on the iPad version.
