Mom wants to do something we've never done in Vegas. She wants to see a show. Her first choice was Rod Stewart (he's not in town). Her second choice was Elton. He's dark the entire time we're there. Mom is budget-minded, but was willing to splurge on those two guys. I don't know if she'd go for Le Reve because of the price. She expressed some interest in Divas last time we were there, but I don't think she'd like the seating. Any suggestions?

Human Nature is supposed to be good. VIP tickets can be had from discounters in the $40 range.

I was going to suggest Human Nature as well. Seems like a good fit for your parameters.

If she likes Rod and Elton, perhaps she likes Beatles? LOVE is one of my favorite shows ever, and I'm not really a show person.

My mom's (who is 62) favorite show is Donnie and Marie, her and my dad, and the family have seen it 3 times. They are great performers and she's old enough to reminisce about them, I'm young enough I don't really remember them, but i still found their show immensely enjoyable.

It's a little pricey, but it's worth it. Sometimes there is a deal, just do some googling.

My mom also liked Viva Elvis, but overall my whole family is a little sour on Cirque shows. She's dying to see Jersey Boys! All my older aunts and family friends have loved it.

Yeah, Human Nature is just a wonderful evening of entertainment.
When are you going? Human Nature's last Show is reported to be
    on Nov. 25th.
    I suggest BOOTH 307, 306.
Another good Show at a good price is 'Vegas! the Show' at the
Saxe Theater in the Miracle Mile Shops connected to Planet Ho.

If there's a discount, definitely find it. My wife wanted to see these and I bought tickets from the box office -- paid $375 for two. There are cheaper seats, but only in the back four rows.

Mom and I will be there Oct 22-25. I was considering Peepshow if Holly will actually be in town that week. Mom and I used to watch Girls Next Door, and since she's leaving, it might be nice to see it before someone else takes over. I appreciate all your suggestions, and I've not sold mom on Peep yet, so it's nice to have a few "back up" options. Am I right in assuming Divas is all booth/table seats? :nworthy:

Back in April we got tickets via BOV online at $99 per ticket...and we sat center stage only 11 rows up......but now I see these tickets are even a MUCH BETTER DEAL...

Divas is in the Human Nature showroom I believe...
I'd suggest sitting in the same place I suggest for that
    Show...BOOTH 307,306.
Reason...it will sound better and the effect/the image
of the impersonators will be more believeable.
    Look at the seating chart.
