If you charge everything to the room, there is a CHANCE that a host might comp some stuff off.

    or/and

If you use the card during each meal, you hope they do everything right. You have to keep track of each thing. If you wait until you check out and use ECs at that point, you know exactly what you are taking off.

Just don't leave them on your account when you leave, as they could DISAPPEAR. Just like a couple hundred of mine did a few days ago. Left me with under a buck, with just a couple of weeks before my next trip...

    NICE... (not)

You'll probably get something like the reply I did:

Since your last visit, we encountered a technical error in our system and some Express Comps you redeemed were not accurately posted to your account. We apologize for the inconvenience. Your account now reflects the Express Comps your earned and redeemed.

    My thought on that: :grrr:

My "audit" took place just before a trip at the end of July. I contacted my casino host at the Mirage when I saw it, and he used his discretionary comps to offset the $450 that had been removed with a bump up in free play and a couple of Ka tickets during my stay.

I got mLife to issue a detailed list of what was deducted, and it was clear to me that the express comp reduction was based on off-property fine dining comps that I had received at a time when my "official" offer was for RFB only at the casino where I was staying. The Mirage host agreed with my assessment. I made sure to get it in writing that the food comps during the July trip would be for dining at any mLife property up to my RFB limit for that trip ($500).

except i've never redeemed ECs for anything in my life, so they can't use that one on me. i got an initial response from my host at the Bbeau that some charges were posted from Vegas recently, which is bullshit since i haven't been there in 7 weeks.

they are supposed to be capped at $5k for platinum and $10k for Noir, but that system has never worked right up to this point.

    Missing EC after audit

Lol, They did the same thing to me two days before we were heading to Vegas and I called my Host at Aria and he said that it got changed because of auditing so that my account now showed $440 less in EC then it did just the day before not really sure why since I hadn't stayed at an Mlife property in almost 6 months I had been gambling at them while staying at CET properties. So I was less then impressed but didn't really know what else to say/do so any resolution or ideas would be great since I'm heading back in 6 days.

I usually just sign everything to my room in the casino I'm staying and use ECs for off property. Then use the ECs to cover any difference on check out. I seem to keep a 2-500 EC balance.
Thanks for the heads up in the thread. I just went and checked my balance (whew!).

Just rechecked mine, and the my EC's have returned to their former level --- along with a few dollars more.

Now, to see if they remain there until we arrive next week!

Of course, knowing that the mobile app for Mlife in the past has been more reliable, I thought I would check there -- and it shows $0.00 in EC's !!

    Some things never change!

Hey shifter -- I know you answered this question in the past for me, but a refresher is in order (because I am too lazy to go back and search) given my trip being NEXT WEEK!

What is the expected earned EC's playing BJ for $100/hand for 1 hour? For that matter, what are the expected primary comps for that as well?

I am using the $100 and 1 hour figures to more easily calculate expected "earnings" based on actual play amount/time.

Of course, all this may go out the window come Oct. 1st, as I have not yet heard what changes may come the way of table game players comp wise...

    THANKS!

somewhere around $25 in comps, 1/3 of which would be ECs.
