You can place your bet pretty much anywhere, for watching I like the 777 brewpub at the Main Street Station. They usually have food and drink specials going during MNF.

The sports book at Golden Nugget gets crowded fast but it is a good location and Benny's Bullpen at Binion's will also do.

Not much downtown..... The Golden Nugget is probably the best. A lot of people will advise going to the Plaza, but I remain unimpressed. Personally I might hop the shuttle out to Sam's Town. They have a nice book.

I second the Nugget. It ain't great, but it's the best you'll get downtown. Perfectly fine place.

For college football, you can arrive at game time. I'm assuming it will fill up early for NFL.

Wondering the same thing. Im arriving Sunday night, but want to spend all day Monday downtown. I was planning on placing my bets at TI's sportsbook (where Im staying on the strip) and either watch it downtown or book it back to Blondes or Lagasse's to watch both Monday night games on 9/9.

Just be mindful of where you place your bets if you're hopping around a lot...make sure its convenient for you to cash in your tickets.

That's why I'm placing the bets at TI because I'm staying there so I have to go back anyway.

Binion's has a fantastic sports bar/cigar lounge which is a recent addition. Don't know anything about their book, though. My primary sports betting has always been Sigma Derby!

The little cigar kiosk at Binions (outside the Bullpen) is nice and the guys working there are pretty friendly. I have had more than a couple cigars back when the pizza and beer pitcher special was going.

Insert coins and Nugget sportsbook are always good.

Does the binions cigar bar have good food to eat during the game? If not suggestions on places to eat during the game?

Upstairs in the Four Queens is the Chicago Brewing Company cigar bar. Small bar but 3 big screens in the bar area, plus another 3 or 4 in the side area.

We've only had pizza there and it is great! They do have a full menu of what you would expect in a pub.

MNF will be everywhere, but for future reference, they do have MLB & NFL network.

There is a TINY sportsbook downstairs and they usually have competitive lines.

Just one word of warning, if Kim the bartender is working and the Cubs are playing at the same time as MNF, football might be on a side screen w/o audio until the Cubs lose.

    Too funny, Joe.

P.S. I wish you would quit recommending this place. It was pretty crowded when I went there on my last trip.

OK, I'll keep my mouth shut from now on. I don't like crowds.

There's a sports book at the Cal. Small. Not crowded. Dave's Bar with VP adjacent to sports book.

However, I think that I may switch to Chicago Brew at 4Qs. They have 9/6 DDBP with progressives on the quads.

Hope it doesn't get too crowded. Haha!

Hate to say it because Binions is one of my favorite places in all of Vegas but spent an evening there last year and the food, including the the. Pizza was well below average. Definatey eat at another location.
