Yeah, it is an easy walk from Mandalay Bay. However, getting into the middle of the busy highway is the problem. Probably easiest to drive or take a cab there for a quick pic.

    It's about a 5 - 10 minute walk out of Mandalay Bay . . I couldn't imagine taking a cab .

If it's hot, don't go out the main MBay entrance - walk inside over to the shark bay entrance and cross the parking lot....

Once you get to the far corner of the parking lot, you're half way there.

It's definitely walkable from MB. I've done it easily. As someone else pointed out, you take your life in your hands trying to get to it since it's in the middle of the strip. I have no clue why there isn't a crosswalk to get to it. Be prepared to sprint.

Because traffic flow is more important and there are a couple of large intersections for highways very close by. That's my guess at least. If it's true, I support it:peace:

Seems like an easy enough morning run there and back then. The first morning is the only morning I am even remotely able to do something like that lol

I did start a thread on why there is no easy access to the traffic island where the sign is, it's not that far of a walk and unless your are going on the bus or taxi, then prepare for a dash accross the road,
We went mid morning and traffic was ok so we could cross, also when we were at the sign, there was a guy who I presume works for the Vegas tourist board, and he would happily take pictures of you standing under the sign.
