Was in Vegas last week-end. For our 6th visit, we decided to try a non gaming hotel, Mandarin Oriental. We were absolutely impressed. Shot a video of our Strip View suite for those interested. See link below. Any question on the hotel, don't hesitate.

Awesome video, I have been interested in staying there as well. Same from the poster above, just wondering what rate you were paying for the suite?

A few months ago, Mandarin Oriental was LV's #1 rated hotel on tripadvisor. It was #2 the other day. I read reviews and it sounds like a great place

It was $579 for the first two nights and the last was free. Still not chreap but the free night made it more tolerable!

Do you mean $579/night for the first 2 nights or $579 total for the first 2 nights?

Sorry. It was $579 per night for the first two nights and then the last one was free.

Looks like a nice place. How far was the walk from the elevator to the nearest casino?

Since I'll NEVER be able to afford that type of room in Vegas....thanks for posting the video! Looks amazing.

The Mandarin Oriental is fantastic. The service is always phenomenal, and I've never even stayed there but when I visit their bar they always make me feel very welcome.

Also, compared to other Mandarin Orientals around the world, the Vegas one is extremely inexpensive. Honestly, get a room midweek and spend a few nights... you won't regret it.

Since there is no casino how do they offer comps or do they? Looks very similar to Aria's corner suite. So my question is this. If they don't have a casino to track play for comped rooms why stay the if your going to gamble at all? You could stay at Aria in a corner suite and potentially get your room comped that trip or maybe offers for an upcoming trip. Just a thought let me know if I'm thinking wrong.
