    Hey

I'm looking for somewhere to eat lunch on the day I arrive. What is the best lunch of the south end of the strip for around $15-20? (no seafood)

I was thinking Burger Bar or 'wichcraft. Anything else that is a must try near MGM? Is there any wait at Burger Bar on a Monday afternoon?

I'd like to eat something I could only get in Vegas. No fast food please.

    thanks!!!

There is a McDonalds right inside the MGM - unless you want something fancier! -sorry I just noticed "no fast food"

I don't know how crowded it gets, but Esiatorio Milos at The Cosmopolitan (not that far from MGM) has a $20.12 pre fixe lunch menu and it is a very good deal for the price. There are alternatives to seafood on the pre fixe menu which offers a nice choice:

If you want something that you can only get in Vegas, you might not want to do 'wichcraft - it is a chain restaurant and not unique to Vegas- they have locations in San Francisco and they are also all over the place here in NYC.

I think there is a Fatburger next to the MGM. Open 24 hrs, I always eat there once or twice per trip.

I've always been a big fan of Wolfgangs in MGM for lunch.

For dessert there is a Dreyers ice cream shop in the Subway next to MGM.

    Underrated ice cream.

I'll put another vote for Wolfgangs. It's our only must-eat place in MGM. MMM now I'm hungry for some Wolfgangs soup with a pizza! :licklips:

I like any of the places in NYNY. Anything from a deli sandwich, italian, chinese, pub fare, and of course pizza. Burger bar is an option, I just don't know if price matters that much. Even ignoring my beer, I can't get out of that place for under $20 when I include tax/tip.

If you want to kindof ignore that fast food part, there is always Earl of Sandwich a few doors down at PH.

Kobe burger at Burger Bar with some grilled onions on top.:licklips: - although with tax & tip you will definitely be a little over $20.

I do like America at NYNY, but prefer the breakfast food served there over lunch and dinner. As mentioned before, Nine Fine Irishmen would also be a great lunch spot.

I like both 'wichCraft and Burger Bar a lot. The steak and egg sandwich from 'wichCraft. Kobe burger with mushrooms, bacon, and avocado from Burger Bar. Don't forget the fried pickles.

I also have to agree - 'wichcraft is delicious. My recommendation is either the turkey/avocado/bacon warm sandwich, or the grilled ham and cheese panini.

Two of my favorite, realtively inexpensive, lunch places on the south end of the Strip are the Burger Bar in the Shoppes at Mandalay and T&T at Luxor. Tried Burger Bar for the first time this past June and really loved it. It's my first stop for lunch when I go back to Vegas in two weeks. T&T is very underrated mexican food and the seocn level inside the pyramid. I like em both

This gets my vote. We always go to 9 Fine Irishmen for our first lunch after we arrive!
